Ok as you can see I would like to be "allowed" to play in my own country once in a while.
A background story:
I was one the pioneers putting Denmark on the Trance music map (Not the only one of course) and one of the first (not the first) to move away from Denmark and go to London in 1996 to follow my dream to live a creative life in "the no.1 musical city".
The only backside of it all this was that I never got invited back to play in Denmark even though I was considered one of the top Dj's and live-projects around the world at that time. The famous Jantelaw stricked back I guess 
Well now I am back living in Denmark again (soon moving to malmoe) and would like to be able to play in my own country. I have played in Sweden and will soon play in Norway but haven't been invited to play in Denmark... Seem quite weird to me 
To those that don't know me I obviously have a project named Elysium Project (used to be Elysium) and I am also part of Sheyba with Jean Borelli, Kaaya with Paul Jackson aka Voodoo People/Juno reactor, Kailash with Tsuyoshi aka Prana/Juojouka and founder of Matsuri Productions (R.I.P) ect ect. All long gone old Goa projects.
Today I am mainly concentrating on Progressive and am currently working on new material (Ethnic progressive Tribal trance) and mainly Dj'ing with progressive trance. But I also play old classics if anyone are doing retro parties  And I do play ambient too.
Anyway enough promotion for me... I just feel it's my time to be "allowed" to play here. After all it's also my country and I would really love to get a break here

Perhaps this isn't the place. Unfortunatly there aren't many danish partyorganizers in here.
You probably already know the danish site http://www.trancetunnel.dk. Perhaps not as good a site as this one (and certainly not with a forum of such high quality), but there are a lot of users, and from time to time they have proven to have big impact on the liveacts presented at danish parties.

have u lost the plot man? Being bitter for that you are not getting booked? There might be a reason for that?

Seem the only one that have lost the plug is you. You signed up a few days ago in this forum and then on your 4th post you start to attack people you dont know anything about.... Way to go mate ! Bravo! Maybe you're the one that need to get away from the Computer?
This was for Scandinavians and I was writing to Scandinavians and especially Danish people - NOT people from Israel !.... And no I was actually not complaining or being bitter...I was just asking for some gigs in my own Country and explaining the history behind why I never really played that much in Denmark..... And now that we're at it...why do you care?...Is it any of your business? I dont think so
Damn people are getting more and more weird in this Forum...

I just wanted to add that this was actually a matter of constructive critisism. I think that the double 12", "Dance for the Celestial Beings" is a masterpiece and was really cutting edge at the time. So basically, it would just be nice to hear more stuff from you! |
