ya we also really enjoyed the music and the atmosphere...i must say though, i asked ahead of time if we'd be allowed in and out of the club, and i was told that it shouldn't be a problem.. also, having our gum taken at the door was pretty cold blooded, almost as bad as having to pay $5 for much needed water..i call that exploitation of decent people just trying to have a good time and stay healthy. lastly, i was impressed with all the energy in the club and good vibes from everybody but i am not alone in saying that cutting the music at 6:15 is not something that me or any of my friends are used to or were prepared for. we expected, as told, at least one more hour of fun. we were cut off when we were just starting to get digging. are me and my friends the only ones who saw a problem here? cheers to all the smiling faces we saw...

Absolute blast guys. BLA is always top notch. You all deserve so much credit. Music was great all night, although I did not like Alex T.'s set. But Mapusa and Reefer...all I can say is WOW!! Some of the best musical sets I have heard. In terms of teh issues that Mizza brings up. I realize the water was expensive but that unfortunately is the case at many of these venues these days. I was able to just buy one botttle and then fill it up again in the bathroom. No gum...yeah kinda crazy but they just got a new wooden floor in the joint which is probably why the club was paranoid about people leaving gum on the floor. And in terms of shutting down early I am sure that wasn't BLAs call. It's tough in Toronto with venues and such so sometimes we gotta accept what we get. I had a fantastic time though. Great job BLA.

You have a good point that we should be happy with what we get, and ya, I for sure loved the music and all the great people!! I hope I don't come across as a complainer or something, and I certainly look forward to the next venue!! I may have been spoiled by the trance scene I witnessed in Israel, but I think it has explosive potential here in Canada as well!! Thanks again to everyone! Maybe in the future someone would be interested in planning an afterparty with me??
