I recived my album yesterday.
And I have listened to the first three tracks. It's beautiful, and a bit "sad" as Lizard sais.

And it aint full-on

No no no, the question is, "Full-On? What are you not smoking man?"

hmm.. ok, i've only had this album for one weekend, and I've played it loud 2-3 times. .. I guess my expectations where a bit "too" high here, but some how, I'm kinda not so impressed as I thought I would be.

I guess it will grow more on me after a few more listenes. Or at least I hope it will.

Question: The teller voice of tracks like "Tommy Is Dead", Talpa's "People are animals" and some tracks by example: Eskimo. Who is he, I know I've heard his voice before, but I cant connect his face. Anyone know, anyone got some info? He's got a Terrance McKenna psy-quality to his voice.

PS. The art work of this album is realy beautiful, and I like the squeres that make the sleeve stay put on the cd cover. Where is that painting from anyway? I studied art for 3 years, but cant realy recall this picture. Do you know it?

yeah the cover is cool. looks like an acid blotter, which probably is what it should actually see like. i dunno about the original picture but it has been changed for sure, as i dont think that om symbol has anything to do in there (;

the music itself is very good but not awesome, as i thought it must be when i heard it at a friend's before buying it myself. now that i listened through it a lot it doesnt sound very special to me (for, maybe, i wasn't too sober when i listened to it the first time). it's weird, psychedelic but it lacks variety and one or two really magic moments in order to enjoy thoroughly for me.
yet i like tunes like "Never Turn Your Back" and "Consciousness" and the general melancholic feeling aforementioned of the album a lot.           Anakoluth A Pebble in Your Eardrum's Shoe since 2001!

I really liked this album however I can't handle "Tommy is Dead." A similar incident at my house took place a long time ago. Made me nauseous to listen to. The only difference is the dude didn't die but came pretty damn close...screwed up for ever though.

An album of immense depth and visuals that i just had to thank the concept of sound and what it does to you.
Nystagmus( Matte Gillard) has taken me through one of my best visually enhanced sensory overload. And i loved every bit of it.
From Tommy is Dead right up to the chaos in Weird Noises and then a shuffle again to hear tracks once in album format then as various singles......... man as the sample says "it was sensational "!!!

Thank you Matte.

I blieve Nystagmus has started as a new artist ("Anahata") producing chillout and ambient , but im sure he has some unreleased psy tracks or more in the future!

This is one of my favorite albums ever - Nystagmus has an incredible amount of style and pinache in his music - I would LOVE to hear this live..

Check out his recent efforts as "Djedhi" - amazing stuff - you can hear the full tracks on his Myspace page... I hope he releases an album soon...

He was going to release his chill album "Anahata - The Unmade Sound" but I don't know what happened to that - the album is complete to my knowledge - does anyone know?
