beats, she will provide some night time female energy for us all."

Anyone else find this to be a disgusting display? What I would like to know is who hailed her this way?

I have heard something different about this girl from many people. I guess this is why I posted here. Beware of this energy.

Great lineup otherwise!

actually we were lead to think that Senor Igloo, is someone who knows and has a personal grunge against Lauryn
AFIK this is this persons only post, and the account was made for this specific purpose of slander

have there been any other posts from this person that would contradict our thoughts on this ?

You know I'm not stupid, I know everyone knows this was me, and if not, surprise! I admit that the mere fact Lauryn got booked to play this party provoked some deep rooted issues inside me that I have no yet resolved yet, but if anyone knew the history behind that (involving her), they might understand a little better. while I'm not going to explain the entire thing here, the reason I posted under an anonymous name was to avoid all this drama, but it seems a particular person wants to call me out on it anyway so I'll stand up and face it. If someone fucks you over in a serious way, you're going to feel some sort of animosity towards them. I have done my best to get over it in the past months but its hard to sit back and watch someone else be successful when you know the truth behind what that person is really like.

Most people who actually know me think I'm a cool person, but the fact remains that I put my trust in this particular person as a friend, and they simply used me to further themselves on the social ladder. You know what, it worked! They might try to act all angelic and convince you otherwise, but the past months have enabled me to reflect on the entire situation and see it for what it really was.

While I realize this is not the way to get ahead and in turn will only sink me further behind, I felt the need to do it, and under an anonymous name so I could avoid all this drama. However since someone felt the need to call me out on it, I'm taking it like a real person and standing up to it.

So the only thing I apologize for is that I posted under SenorIgloo. Form your own judgements, you all will anyway. If I never spin in SF now, than so be it. I know the truth for my behavior and that I am not crazy. Just remember that not all feedback on a person or DJ has to always be positive, especially when they proclaim themselves to be the queen bee. This is the way I feel.

I'm also sorry for airing my dirty laundry in public, this was what I was trying to avoid, but I'm not embarassed. Whatever the consequences of my actions are for doing this than so be it. Hopefully this won't drag on too long, so go ahead and get your pity party/slander of me over with.

One more thing in response to all this. I realize this party was not about Lauryn, and that no one appreciates my negativity. All around the party looked amazing including the lineup and I totally would have been there had I found out about it earlier.

So again, sorry to air my dirty laundry in public. While I don't regret the substance of what I said, I do realize it was inappropriate to hijack this thread and try to make it be about something that is not beautiful. I can be impulsive sometimes. I'll do my best to ensure it does not happen again.

well i appreciate your thoughtfullness and coming foward on this. Personally i did not know were the origin of the other post, but i guess in hindsight the comparison between the names should be obvious.
Like i said i appreciate you coming out and clearing the air on this
know lets put it all behind us and let it go on. This thread isnt about this , and really with the exception of pics (where are they BTW) this whole thead should be nearing its death.

and good for you standing by your actions. I may not agree with them, but good for in at least standing by what you feel is right.
Im a loud opinionated SOB, and act impulsive at times, and am damn proud of it. Though i will admit it has gotten me in trouble on here and other forums before

SPook here,

so lets use Powwow East and West coast events as way mark on how the progress of the INTER - National USA Psy posses are doing. We have successfully pulled off some impressive cross country collaborations. Lets have this new year continue this momentum that the TOUCH SAMADHI and PHOENIX FAMILY collectives have begun! I urge all of you promoters and collectives to keep up the good work and stretch to include one guest from the american continents for every event. Even if it means coughing up the airplane ticket up front... I ll bet there is many talented djs willing to fly them selves in for an event. lets start using this thread to organize this effort of cross polly nation... Also Hats off to THEO in NYC for making this his quest as well... 28th day Productions rock!!

ps WICHDOKTA my Brotha... never was there a more hard working and generous soul. SONJAH my sista, your strength and inspiration goes far deeper than moral support. It is the thread that helps weeve this loving tapestry together, To Josie and Billy- Takuan... aka together as MIND ALTERS... your passionate and tireless devotion to our family is inspriring and refreshing. thanks ... so UNOFFICAILLY

ITS ALL BILLY's FAULT that this happened (not the weather) the god blessed party!! He seeded the idea of Touch Samadhi and Phoenix co-labs by moving from North Carolina with a KRI cd in hand and on April 20 (420) 2004 he showed up at the rastaliens party and demanded we listen to the KRI set he had. It started right there with this act of love and devotion =)

so there is your history lesson for today =)

Great idea, Spook. We should really build a solid network across this country in order to facilitate the development of a real trance scene - combining forces makes everything so much easier. We're going to try and bring some US-based performers to Colorado this summer, and probably travel to some other states (Texas, Arizona, Arkansas, etc.) and check out what's going on in those places. We've got a lot of potential here, let's utilize it.

          ..it's just another party..

agreed this is what i had hoped to get started back with the Circles of Sound festival.

I do think that more events based on US headliners around the country would be a good idea, as well as trying to have a US act or dj as the 2nd act in a lineup with a international.

As Aaron in the Trancers Guide to the Galaxy said, If the US scenes could unite, they would have one kicking scene that would rival anywhere else in the world

My name is Pete and I am a promoter in Vancouver Canada. www.goatrancemission.com
I have been promoting a three day festival here in Vancouver and last year I had Space Tribe and Kode-4 headlining the show.
I love the artists in America and am already working on three of them, to bring them for my festival in 2006. You will find out once it is confirmed.
NOW, i compeletly agree with u that there should be a feeling of brotherhood between the dj's in north america and exchange programme sounds good. After all we all are soldiers for Peace and Love. So i fully support the exchange programme and if I can help in anyway let me know.
Om Namah Shivaya,
Pete
