first ide like to say thanks to ALL the super cool guys that made this event happen! i came in stright from the airport and felt like i got home! smily friendly attitudes all over the place towrds a starnger....talk about the trance spirit!!!!

what i liked most about the party was the way the place looked even though there was a last minute re-location issue...

2 b honest the music was a hard frog for me to swallow but the mixing skills allmost threw out the whole night were good!

the shrines were def' my fav' item of "deco" major props for that! good job Bob....

i would like to esp' thank Derrick and Aaron for beeing mad cool and inviting me to there home after the party and for showing me around the city!

so to sum it up thx Spook and crew for a great NYE its great to kick off the year with such karma.

Cheers.           "....or is it???"

Fully agreed. Sincere thanks and respect to all (especially Random, Dr. Spook, Paradigm, and others I may be leaving out) for making this happen and for making us out-of-towners feel welcome. Moving this event to a smaller indoor venue had a positive effect in the end, IMHO: A very positive/intimate vibe, concentrated energy, and people rocking the fuck out. Everyone played well, and Kri and Paradigm's back-to-back sets completely blew me away.

My only lamentation about the evening was not being able to stay longer and lend more assistance to the cleanup/teardown effort. Mad respect to my friend Ross who, despite escalating illness, carted us around the city, took us to the party, and held out like a real trance trooper until morning. We had just enough time for food, medicine, and a short rest before flying home.

So, in short: Many, MANY thanks to the SF folks for keeping it very real.

I'm glad you all had a good time, but what about the thanks to the guy that flew all the DJ's in and made the gathering. I didn't get to go cause of flooding and not a mention of thanks. BOM

You're right... not a mention of thanks.. You people should be ashamed!

Wish I could have stopped up with Monkey and Kri to thank you in person.

This bud's for you!

How could anyone forget to mention a special thanks to Witchdokta, the man who gave so much for a party that he never got to go to- HE ROCKS- his love and devotion to the psytrance scence was still present at the San Fran makeup party. With his loyal phoneix family friends and astounding local and out of state djs, the party was incredibly moving, a news years eve never to be forgotten. Thank You Witchdokta for creating the means and inspiration for one wonderful party! Thank you Spook, Lawerence, Ross, Chromotone and Mind Alters for making sure that Witchdokta's vision was still carried out to be one kick ass party. Thank you to Random, Paradigm, Chromotone, Spook, Barakuda and Dai from LA, who all played amazing sets and to Kri, Blue Spectral Monkey, Lauren and KaiserSoze, who came from other states to blow our minds for one amazing night.

with out a doubt the man who fosterd this idea to begin with does deserve some recognition. Without his ideas, and desire to give a holiday gift to the community, this wouldnt have even been possible.
Mother nature conspired to keep you away Rich, but we rocked it in proper fashion that you would be proud of had you made it. Many thanks for all you did.

PS, i heard that some folks actually did make it up north, and you gave them a 7 hour audio ass kicking...

i had the most incredible time in cali! big thanks to billy and josie for taking us around santacruz and thru the redwoods and beyond, and geomagnetic studio for housing us the last few days, so awesome to see your studio and hear some of the new creations!
super gratitude out to witchdokta whose vision for the scene and overall generosity are unmatched. great to see the land you were stranded on, im glad you got to jam out with us in spirit!
i was impressed at the effectiveness of the gang when they pulled a party out of a hat and bam! the road closings didnt do anything but present a small challenge. a magical party was created on the fly!
the music thru the night was great, even better once the volume went up considerably! so good to see dancin and hear the yellin party people having the time of thier life! good times! i am honored to have been a part of this gathering. more please!

My thanks were granted implicitly rather than explicitly - sorry about that, but being an out-of-towner, I was not hip to all information concerning who did what.

So, BIG thanks to you and to everyone who worked on this and made it happen, despite weather and complications. Unfortunate that mother nature kept you from making it back - would have been nice to meet you and hear you play. Next time?

Sincere Regards.
