For anyone headed to NYC for Thankgiving.....
Psycheground presents: OHM
This wednesday (11/23) thanksgiving eve featuring
America's top trance dj's.
Lineup:
10:00-11:30 - LUIS (dreamcatcher)
11:30-1:00 - BABLA (kaya records)
1:00- 4:00 - Special tag team set by:
DiMiTry (Jagged Sound, OneTribe, Colorado)
and
LAURYN (Mistical Productions, Boston)

A DJ since 1997, DiMiTry first began to air his eclectic collection of electronica at one of the oldest freeform radio stations in the US. Drawing on many years of musical education, he learned how to weave tales with sounds, how to use complex tracks as building blocks for creating intricate musical patterns that toy with the mind and move the body electric. Already a seasoned psychonaut, DiMiTry fell in love with Goa in a magical desert setting during a trip to the Burning Man festival in 1999. Moved by the experience, he decided to start collecting and spinning psytrance. Since then, he has performed at many indoor and club events in New York, San Francisco, and Denver, rocked the biggest sound stages at Burning Man, and explored the unknown regions of the mind at outdoor parties and festivals across Colorado, the Southwest, and on the East Coast.
DiMiTry plays a wide variety of styles, depending on the timeslot and the overall vibe of the party: from highly psychedelic, twisted madness brewed in the deserts of California and the forests of Sweden to stomping dancefloor bombs, glitchy, sexy psy-funk, and driving psychedelic morning goa. Powered by the best new music, and not afraid to pull out obscure and unusual tracks and samples, each set by DiMiTry is a unique experience, not to be missed.

Lauryn (Mistical Productions, Boston)
Lauryn's passion for music has been a constant in her life for as far back as she can remember. She began studying classical violin when she was nine years old. Over the years her musical interests expanded well beyond the orchestral realm, shifting more towards electronic music and, in particular, psychedelic trance. Her love of trance music led her to begin DJing and producing her own psytrance radio show while attending college in upstate New York. In 2002, after graduating, Lauryn moved back to Boston where she helped start Psyforia, a monthly psy event that runs to this day. Lauryn has recently joined forces with Mistical Productions (www.mistprodonline.com). She also works with the legendary Acidance Records (www.acidance.com) as promotions and bookings manager.
In the last five years, Lauryn has played across the United States and Europe alongside such artists as Logic Bomb, CPU, Penta, Dark Soho, Grapes of Wrath, and Mekkanikka. She equally enjoys playing driving psychedelic progressive sets, dark funky full-on psychedelic nighttime sets... as well as the occasional morning chillout grooves. No matter the style, you can always expect an energetic set from this up and coming female DJ.

i'm curious to hear what a tag team set from dmtree and lauryn sounds like. too bad i'll already be in philly for the holiday.

DiMiTry returns to NYC once again!!!! 
I'm very curious to hear what a DiMiTry vs Lauryn tag team set will sound like as well.  . I've been waiting to dj alongside this guy for a while now...Be prepared-- we will unleash some madnesss for sure mwahaha...
Babla  - who can forget his marathon morning set @ TDC Festival this past summer???. Can't wait to to rock out to your hidden blasters!!!

Wowowowowowowowow I am so there - and luckily the next day is a holiday - sweeeeeeeettttt ... I have been dieing to listen to the much heard about new stuff from bablas stash bag and ofcourse who can forget lauryn - she dashed any hopes of sleep for me with her set at the TDC festival - Plus i have never been to fat black pussycat and I hear the location is absolutely Chikna |

guys this will be one to remember.
i cant open tomorrow so jugernaut is playing instead of me .
babla is gonna bless us with his incredible energy and mixing , then lauryn and dimitry are gonna fry our brains.
im gonna talk to the owner and see if they can stay open after 4 am since is a holiday. |

I am waiting for DiMitry since i heard him last summer at Pines (PSI -TouchSamadhi party) and it seems tag team with Lauryn going to be really wonderful.
Babla, I am all ready to dance on full power as next day is holiday ;-)
Since the beginning of this weekly party this is the first time Thursday is holiday. Can we have this event go on till morning? OR may be Afterparty ;-)
[Also nothing happening this weekend – or may be I am not aware!]

Also, interested in hearin all the dj's play, never heard them before. Dimitry i heard about, Lauryn i missed her set in Detroit or Cleveland once, if im not mistaken?? and Babla, who i have heard about a lot but never had the pleasure to check it out myself.
