If you want to drink for free check out www.myopenbar.com . There are several open bars happening every night of the week around the city, that way you can go out drinking for free.
www.freenyc.net is another good website with free cultural events.
This way you can save up your money for trance parties.

whats wrong with the NYU areas?? it is situated right between all the places mentioned .. union square.. mc dougal.. astor/st. marks place..... i mean its a bunch of college students....chilling in washington square in the spring(right now)... killer atmosphere...... whats wrong with that????
