How much non-full on psytrance is made nowadays? I haven't really been active in the psytrance universe lately.
Please list some (good of course) albums from the last year that are not full on.
Maybe I didn't miss anything at all?

Many Many non fullon releases in many styles .......
it kinda 60% fullon and 40% all other styles like progressive , minimal , tech trance , psychedelic and dark psychedelic ..............
If you looking for Psychedelic it is Schizm and all other finish style artists
Minimal just released some nice Zenon records release Permutations
Dark Psychedelic last and best compilation is Deliver us from Evil
Nocturnal Imprints is some progressive tech trance compilation
Quibic Loops is nice tech progressive compilation
Entropy - First law of Thermodynamics release is dark psychedelic with psychedelic elements same as Tul - Anarchy ..........
Mandalavandalz - Chapora Nightlife is totaly psychedelic album
Atmos - 2nd Brigade is techno progressive album
A Token To Thrill is totaly kick ass progressive compilation from Nano Beats
Avalance of Sound 2 is same style
Vision and Cenedy best progressive album from this years released on Hadshot Ha Haizar
Buzzmonx - Tom's n Jerry released on Pluquam is something between progressive trance and psy
Marc O'Tool and Peter Gun albums , Marc out soon from two vinyl it became new album with new Passenger 2.0 which are pure progressive .
Emou - Apres Midi is totaly kick ass chillout ambient from Haldolium guy and singer
Broken , fullon artists wanted to proove their musical talent and produce totaly kick ass beatz VA
i can list here new releases like hell , much more than i listed here

Bigwigs -from poland (candy -correct me if i'm wrong)
Etic- upcoming talent from israel (minimal proggressive)
Trance Scandinavian Express - very good compilation from turbo trance including logic bomb, side projects of logic bomb, s-range chromosome...

with experimental music their album released long time ago .....Fraktalic Fraterneti , fractik illness in one word ...........

Etic , when it released ???? never heard and want to hear same as minimal criminal from Brazil ..........

i wouldn't call that full on as i know it(well, maybe part of it), but nevertheless it's a good music.
etic released his album "touch-ups" 3 months ago on trancelucent.

So explain me what is fullon ? coz all you list here is fullon and you list it as psychedelic dark , psychedelic dark can't have groove scale basslines it is fullon style of baseline .................
psychedelic dark is static baseline , quick without melodies and many psychedelic FX and leads . |

a very popular album this year that got many good reviews is the Son Kite- Colors album that came out a few months ago. On the progressive side, not my favorite style but many others like it a lot. |

I did not like this album , never understood Son Kite music and this one is commercial release so it even not intresting as underground music like it was in the past ..............................................

Sector666, what is full-on to you might not be to others...and vice versa...and many projects are "floating" between categories....
I don't want to discuss what categories are, specially because what I just said in the last sentence, but also because it has been discussed here countless times. But I can't agree with u when u say that only full-on can have scale bassline...I don't think you can apply such kind of rules to any category....

So what is fullon FluoSamsara ?
Why ppl use this word ? maybe better to call it uninteligent psychedelic trance which fits much more the definition ?
or not even get into the styles and genres which i see as weakness .....
I see something in your words and it make sense but not enough for me ......
Maybe it is the time to make genre definition ? |
