I agree with you Meta, totally a bad idea. Then again, if the event itself is entirely permitted than it can serve to get more heads; mind you not always THE HEADS that we WANT at psy parties, but people to pay entrance price nonetheless amiright?
For underground parties though, need to keep them off the mainstream party boards. I too noticed that this party was posted up on all kinds of party lists.

the event got broken up because some people went the wrong way on the dirt road which lead to a public camp site they in turn called the cops the directions said not to stop in order to avoid suspicion but they just went the wrong way and woke up some campers with young kids so please try to follow the instructions and we might get away with being so close to LA or we are going to have to drive to Mojave |

Who called the police? The people on the way to the party, or the family that got woken up? If I got woken up by a car in the middle of the night at a public campground I would NOT call the police, isn't that a fairly normal occurrence at a PUBLIC campground? It just doesn't make sense unless the people going to the party itself called the cops... in which case, who are these people???

honestly the problem really is once parties get too big, with too many people coming this type of shit is bound to happen unless the land is private and has appt permits etc. seriously too many people = too many problems + too much trash and shit left over from the party. |

Psyowa blessings go out to all you stompers that were effected by this unfair occurrence... sad that some illinformed law enforcement agencies have to shit on everyone's parade, but as everyone has been saying, a major lesson has been learned regarding the land used for an event, so take the lesson to heart and move forward to throw even better and safer events!

I'm newer to the scene (2 yrs on PSYHalloween, Andrew took one look at me and handed me a flyer) and I'm not know by all, but I do know and lobby GreenSector, and I yell at Andrew online....

I just had to chine in on this one. Why not just follow the rules? Life is really simple. It's just a simple series of rules and protocols. A+B=C and X leaves you alone and All is happy. Just check things out first and go by the book.
