why the "nitzchonot" genre is dead?
i liked some of it  (like the compiltaion series: ptzatzot, and some eyal barkan  )
and why everyone hate it? |

it's dead becasue it was a genre lead by people thirsty for money and not for music.
it was the lowest-quality trance aveliabele.
so once the wave have passed, people realized they bought shitty CD's with very low-production and sound value,
and stopped buying it.
some artists (such as Yahel) are still making "victorious " tracks from time to time but they are much much better than the wave of impulse-tracker garbage of Eyal Barkan & Co.

eyal's third cd (which most of it he made with yahel)
(mr.club-trance)
was kinda "Club-Nitzchonot"
it's not that bad....
ofcourse it's simple,fast,melodic and nothing very complicated.. |

IMO, a lot of the nitzhonot ideas slipped in to some full-on artists. GMS, Alien Project, Fractal Glider, Astrix... these guys all have their "victorious" moments in their tracks. Just done very proffesionally, with quality production, and very trancy, as opposed to the nitzhonot genre as a standalone. Then again, I never said that a nitzachon is bad, just the style itself for not aspiring for much more than those moments.
Add that to the wise words of Mr. Hanky, and you get a pretty full picture.

Nitzhonot is not that bad. Take Shidapu for example (I'm talking about the whole group, not only Erez. Shidapu & Duvdev sucked at first.) - they made great goaish nitzhonot tracks which I'm still listening and enjoying today.

Mr. Club Trance was made ONLY by yahel, and btw also with asrtix (avi shmailov i think)..
this is waaay better than nitzchonnot..

Timmy my friend melodic morning 3 is Greek victorious trance and unfortunely here in Greece this kind of music is still alive,not for very long i guess.
Some israel nitchonot was very nice before some years,i very much enjoyed tracks like Astrix-Astrix,Astrix-No gravity,Destination-Alien pc and some other stuff but as Mr Hanky said when you are interested only in money sooner or later you dissapear.Today very few artists are still making this kind of music like Yahel,Barkan brothers,Holymen and some really really bad and young artists
This is music will dissapear in the next few years not to say next year

I don't think is will disappear.
As long as there are ppl willing to buy this shit, artists will continue making it.

the nitzhonot zhaner is dead mostly because it is a catchy tune , and u get tired of it very fast .
try and upgrade ypur taste , move on to night trance zhaner.
