unfortunately i haven't found someone who has it, so i haven't been able to give it another shot. as soon as i do tho, i'm gonna burn it and listen to it front to back. i'll keep u posted

As for NIN tours....I would have killed to have seen NIN and Atari Teenage Riot on their European tour that was cut short when Carl Crack of ATR was checked into the hospital, and later passed away . I was so disappointed to live on this side of the ocean when i heard about this tour, as NIN and ATR are two of my all time favorites

I just keep loving each day more this new section on Isratrance!

NIN is one of my three favourite bands, dividing the "podium" (lol) with Tool and Radiohead (after releasing Kid A,althought OK Computer is also an excellent album).
I got introduced to NIN's sound by a great friend of mine and from the first minute I heard it I just got mad about their music. The feeling, the composition, the lyrics, the production...Each one of these elements just kept my attention on NIN's sound, but the thing that really made me "feel in love" for it was the entire concept that Trent putted in his work.Simply indiscribible!

I remember that the first thing I got of NIN was Head Like A Hole EP (Halo Three) and two days later I was buying two differents editions of Sin single (Halo Four).Since then I've tried to get every single edition that's released by them.Kind like an addict...lol.I even have three different editions of We're In This Together single (Halo Fifteen) and each one of them it's different. If any of you have this one,or is able to get it,check the one with an white and black cover (the cd inside is yellow) and listen to second track Complications Of The Flesh and tell me if you don't find this one just wicked!...As everything else from them...LOL

vector_0 as for Marilyn Manson and Mechanical Animals, you should defenitly give it a second chance. It's a really difficult album to understand,as all Marilyn Manson albuns. You have to be really attentive to everything to be able to understand the idea and the whole concept of the album.Trust me,I've studied all Marilyn Manson albuns and I can tell you,I know much more about this project than many people would ever imagine, and to be able to understand it you just need to pay attention to every single detail that you see. That includes the artwork, the video clips and everything else you can imagine!Trust me,this guy does nothing without an intention.Every single sentence, image, scheme, etc that you see in the album artwork, the hiden tracks, the number of tracks, etc, everything that you can imagine and even that you can imagine has porpose.Even the colours itself! Now this is what I call a conceptual work!

Who know's,maybe one day, when I have the time and patience I'll open myself a threat here with everything I know about him.Trust me,it would be a reallyyyyyyyyyy extensive threat!

Meanwhile,just pay attention!

P.s.: Does anyone know if we're really going to have the oportunity to hear someday something from Tapeworm,or does Trent Reznor really intends to go foward with the idea of never publish anything of them?I just feel depressed knowing that there is a project involving Maynard James Keenan and Trent Reznor and that I'll never be able to hear it (except from that track,Perfect Enemy, performed live by A Perfect Circle).

Nine Inch Nails is so many memories for me. I remember my friend introduced me to it a couple of years ago (4 i think). We listened to it all summer, the summer of my life. Then he got really depressed and startet with drugs... Anyways, I've got him almost totally out of it now, so its ok. But NIN is really... magical...

Love it!!!

I've changed a lot since I first heard The Fragile, some 6 years ago. Trent's music meant a lot to me back then, and in fact has continued to be relevant, but I really wonder if this new cd, "With Teeth," will still have the same magic?

A friend once called Trent Reznor a modern existentialist. Something about his lyrics speaks deeply to the despair bubbling under our lives. To be a full person you've got to acknowledge and embrace that...

Hey NIN fans, a producer friend of mine told me recently that Trent has a track available for download right now (at http://www.nin.com/current/index.html ) which contains all the files needed to remix the track on a Macintosh. (Pardon me for not knowing which program is needed - if I had to guess it would be either Logic or ProTools)

Anyway, my friend has already remixed it for great fun and perhaps some of you might enjoy it too.

Has anyone heard the new album. I heard it yesterday and it's not what I expected! It's really good but it took me a few listens to get into it.

It's more "Downward Spiral" than "The Fragile" I thought.

I'd like to get some other opinions on it.           A beer in the hand is worth 2 in the fridge

Decent new album...but a lot of piggybacking on older material. I was expecting a bit more in terms of innovation.

I'm already working on it... Should be done by the end of this week... Funny thing though, I still haven't listened to the original yet. I have had a hard time with quicktime on my computer, so I wasn't able to listen to it yet.

I have always been a big NIN fan (as well as a Manson fan too). Trent is incredibly talented and according to his site, he will be letting the files for some of his other songs get out for remixability as well. It's good to see them putting out a new album. Reminds me of when I was young and angst ridden...           An Eagle may soar, but Weasels don't get sucked into jet engines.
