Hello everyone.. What we have here is a mix that is to be released this New Years Eve in Seattle, WA (at a mega rave of all places.. hee hee). Both CDs were mixed with 2 Pioneer CDJ1000 & a Pioneer DJM600. Recording and tracking was done with Soundforge, while mastering was done with T-Racks 24.

Thanks for listening, I hope you enjoy these mixes!

Hello, nicktornetta!!!!
Oh, man! I was absolutely amazed by your progressive set. Loved it. All trax you chose are my favorite trax. I felt like I asked you to play my favorite trax with fabulous mixing. I liked the intro of your mix with ticon. Very nice idea. I would love to see you playing at a party. Keep it up, nicktornetta!!!!!! Great job!

Tell me what you listen, and I'll tell you what you are.

Cue files are used to split up long mixes into seperate tracks after you burn it onto an audio cd. Since you don't want to have one long song, the cue file will split it up, so you can skip tracks.

Nice Mix Nick...The only beef I have with your mix is that it is too slooowww....
I would speed up the mix 10-20 BPM to about 150-160 BPM. Otherwise it is a fine mix.....

do you know what youre saying?

if nick increases the bpm by that much it will sound like sh#t. any deviation from the original bpm by more then alittle will distort the sound completley. if tracks are 145 bpm for example, its not wise to play them at more then 150 bpm (even that's not good), simply bad sound.

Just listened to the second mix for the second time. Damn Nick, That is some fine ass mixing, some of these DJ's need to to take a page or two out of your book of Djing and study up. Love the track selection too, you really had me rocking on my Winamp there. I'm gonna download the first side now too inspite of myself and my shitty taste lately in Trance. Good stuff bro.

a couple of those tracks had to be pitched down to 145/146.. but the last 2 had to be pitched up from 140/1.. 150/160 bpm.. sounds like psycore to me but suggestion noted.

thanks for the compliments and suggestions guys keep em coming!

also, I will be in Tennessee and Rhode Island for some shows in early March as part of a tour with Trance[]Control (www.trancecontrol.com). I know these states are still pretty far from some of you mods, but hey they are closer than Seattle

Lets hook up if at all possible!
