what i meant was more to the small underground(unauthorised)parties,if you'll scroll down in this section u will understand what i meant...
about the more invested ones(still unauthorised) im not sure which one u meant but at least in one case that production gather around them an amazing tribe and i dont think that promoting their event on the net will bring them more ppl or less...in the long distance it will make more damage than benefit.imo.

Yuli my friend i could not agree with you more..
Oran, you do have a serious point reguarding low budget hush hush parties. BUT..when it comes to promoting a large party with an overseas artist one would consider using the services of this forum (with the right precoutions taken offcourse)as a promotion and to get to people who wouldn't hear of this party in other ways(sms,email etc.) and have an itrest in your kind of party (proggy fans for instants). The producer should be responsible enough to arange proper security offcours if he intends to promote the party that way...
Solving the problem of undesired people in parties is very hard these days but there are still ways to avoid them (proper security,far loacations and weird line up....)
As for hush hush parties in unapproved loacations promoting on the web is not something i would do..(and i'm not talking about arsim now..)
With great hopes for a beautiful summer for the trance scene..

I agree with you actually man
BUT 
I personally brought foreign DJ's to play in Israel few times in events I arranged, and since I am no production that works around the clock etc.. I would have to make certain promotion that lets say 5 years ago I wouldnt think of, such as Flyers and a little info in this forum to those I cannot reach.
I fully agree tho that real hush hush parties of friends, shouldnt be here, there is no reason for it, and it can make more damage than good.

agree on 100%. in the case of authorised events.
in the case of unauthorised parties,sorry i cant understand that...
try to read reviews and promotion from last week and also promotion for future parties on this section and you will understand what im talking about(sorry i wont give any links and explenations.
in the end of the day,who needs to know,will know.

ofcourse evry case is diffrent and i dont say ppl shouldnt promote their events on the forum...
but i think we both agree that many of the parties that u can see now on the promotion section shouldnt be there...though its not my parties or my god damn buisness how to promote them i only try to understand what thought cross in the mind of those org's...
i remember that thought cross my mind in one party i worked on and i asked some of the team(isratrance)members what do they think about it? the answer was:DONT EVEN THINK ABOUT IT!!!

Oran, 1st of all chill a little bit, I dont compare myself to nothing, especially not to the Empire. so see this as 2 different things.
Its just that those two examples was the easiest for me to give. i'm sure if I give it a little search i'll find great examples from the Promotions Forum. Yuli's party with Space Safary is good enough for you ?
Bottom line, it all depends how hard the producer keeps his info.

i misse yuli's party but if im not mistaken it was an indoor party,so once again BAD EXAMPLE!
about the 2nd part:if u read again what i wrote i said its all about rumors the more promotion u make the strongest the rumor is and then more ppl come,sometimes unwanted ppl.
