Actually, if you are stressed out and in a bad mood music will sound worse than if you are happy.

I know this to be a fact since I, as a DJ, might listen to hundreds of Cds and I rate every track I like.

When Im happy I have a tendency towards better ratings, and when Im not it takes more to get me going.

In the end, I have factored in a redundancy in the system I use, so I dont miss tracks (the shitty tracks will always be eliminated).

This is not something I "think", this is something I "know".

In the case of CD reviewers, a good reviewer will listen to a release more than just once if he is even slightly in doubt as to the quality of the music.

A related phenomenon is that some times CD releases need to grow on you, this might very well be related to either your mood or musical evolution.
If a CD grows on you within a week, I think its more a matter of mood than evolution.

Yes.. music sounds worse when your in a bad mood or stressed out. But that dosnt make the music bad. its only your mood. this discussion is going somwere else.. lets leave some space for the people who just want to replye to the real topic of this thread.           Slipped in my sleep: "Back From Beyond" Iono Music.

ok guys... think it over and agree with Nox (who is right) or stop this annoying discussion... lol

and btw: Irish folk music is awesome! when you are happy it makes you sing along and when you are sad it makes you drink. either way you end up singing! try it...
