Killer!!, thank you Basilisk! Ektoplazm really puts out some quality music!
As for the term "new school goa" When I use it I'm not referring to any specific style rather just referring to all new Goa Trance styles being made currently. Loving all the recommendations so far in the thread!
bOM!

Ok so I came across the artist Pan Psychic.........WOW
And whats more amazing is that they released a free album:
"Pan Psychic - We Are Not Who We Are" - Sun Station Records
(not all the tracks are pure Goa Trance style, but a good portion of them are, many different styles all on one cd)
First time listening to it and its brilliant!!!

Pan Psychic is awesome, mixing energy similar to night psytrance but in very melodic goa vibed ways... his track, In Suspend is a track I am so unabashedly craving to hear at a party, this is for sure
Mixes with Khetzal's faster tracks and Lost Buddha perfectly, and loads of oldschool to.
Maybe we should do something here, how about we share any music we deem, or will figure out deeming "New Goa", it has a number of substyles besides just melodic india sounding stuff
Momentary 29 by Red Gravity
and we have slower, morning tracks as well, Khetzel - Anamatha is irresistable durring a sunrise or sunset.
Your turns
(...and just for fun, heres another one too )

That last video was Aerosis - Contorsion on suntrip's Twist Dreams compilation. Some guy on youtube is doing a catalogue of what he says is goa trance, and he is on the dime
Ohm if you like Artifact 303, you will like Nuxx's style, its similarly awesome trance but with darker and more mysterious undertones. However Nuxx keeps it so low profile that I'm actually mad at him, I sent him a message that he needs to put himself out there more, but it is an older project from around 2003-2005... I would play his tracks if only I had them in higher quality.
This is the other thing about goa today, there are maybe 50 decent artists but most of them are too low key, with no system in place to promote them. I know many of them only through the music communities we used to post around in. He was huge in the mp3.com days.

awesome will definitely look up Nuxx, thanks for rec! I really wish that there would be more Goa Trance artists and djs at parties. Anywayz IsraTrance is atleast one small way of bringing up their names and letting ppl know that there is still amazing Goa being made today.
Aerosis and Ektoplazm FTW!!! Great set by Aerosis at the last Psytribe party!!
@Basilisk,
Love teh website! I fell in love with many artists there, main one being Cybernetika. Very talented cat. IMO, I think Nanospheric is Goa-inspired Space Psy. I wouldnt consider it straight Goa....would you?

Thanks! And yes, I agree with you--it is different from our usual conception of Goa trance. I mean, back in 1998 you would hear some music like that (parts of the album really remind me of Pigs In Space) but nowadays the term "Goa" means something fairly specific... and Cybernetika is more than that. He also writes a lot of heavier stuff that you might call darkpsy, so there's a big blend of influences there. He's very talented!

I'm going to be a little bitch here and ask,
with all this new school Goa coming out, how come there hasn't been any brilliant gem tracks that rise to the top, like back in the real Goa dayz?
Much respect to the artists producing this music but... To me it sounds like a lot of good imitating but nothing brilliant musically.
Maybe I just don't know the word on the street. Are there tracks which new school Goa enthusiasts are heralding as ageless gems?

Personally, I think this scene (the whole psychedelic spectre) hasn't had a hit since Astrixs Scientific Reality & Deedrahs Reload. The scene is far too small nowdays and much too divided to have something called hits. And I'm talking about the entire psy-scene.. Just my 2 cents..

So why don't you make a brilliant gem and give to the people what they really want to hear? I know because it's really difficult to get to that state in music production and ideas...Good luck though...
