why don't look on the scene globally? my mind is expanded to all kind of electronic music and then to subdirections, i listen to music 24/7, in one day i pass through psytrance - dark, fullon, goa, whatever, minimal and progressive, morning, ambient, idm, chillout, house etc. etc. also chemical brothers there 
and i don't dissapointed so much about psytrance, i just find the jewels in it.
perhaps some house freak thinks same way now so he moves to psytrance, so why don't u take what you like from different genres and combine for yourself some enjoyable journey through sound?
i also use to hear my mates music which is very creative stuff, not released but as tim said different and some people don't afraid to be different
anyway what is revolution for you? like fullon will be replaced with new one, then everybody will do it and you will be again dissapointed?
you better expand your horizones with all music avaliable now, and see who got spirit in it and touching you.

OK, first of all, I know all of the Warp records acts (really, that's the basics of IDM), but lately I've got a good recommendation from Anakoluth (Kompakt Records, Germany) for minimal techno and quite a bit of other recommendations for all kinds of styles - and I'm just going to take a break from psytrance at the moment if you don't mind.
Also, for all the people that listen to the chemical brothers - I just found my old Music for the Jilted Generation CD... now THAT'S breakbeat.

shouldn't you be listening to it simply cos u like it? and if you don't, are you afraid NOT to listen to it, or switch to something else for a while (.....or forever who knows!) ?
cmon guys who says we NEED to listen to psytrance for the rest of our lives? we enjoy it for as much as we enjoy it and if we feel it's not as it used to be then we should be able to move on!
it's like having the same girlfriend for years and suddenly things are not as good as before. the magic is lost, you want to try different things, new girlfriends etc. now, in that case what would you do? stick with the same old girlfriend and "pretend" you still like her, or move on to find a different one?
you don't have to make efforts to listen to a specific music. relax and let things come natural....................................

To understand what I said is to know me . You misunderstood what I was saying XrTC. I guess I didnt go into greater detail, I was trying to condense it. BTW I listen to psytrance because I love it, thats why we are here isnt it? |
