Haha true say i have similar plans im starting off with the temple before mountain madness festival going there on 17th.
In the second trip end the shanti jatra expedition by visiting the temple once again after the festival before i leave nepal.
Btw ive heard the babas there are quite friendly with us psy types....

Orgz!! How far do you think the festival Venue be from Kathmandu this time around? Do you think Hiring a bike to move between Kathmandu and the venue be a good Idea? If not a shuttle service twice a day,lets say one around 11 and another at 6 between Kathmandu and the Venue would be a great idea for a nominal fee as some of us would like to get the best of both worlds that is spend time in Kathmandu as well as the festival and basically shuttle between the two places. It just gives the festival goers like myself a lot more felxibilty and freedom.
If the Venue is loacted as far away as it was in the first edition hiring a bike would make sense as the roads were great as well to that place! I mean to get a general idea!

Nope. The deco for that one was flown in from the states... the artist was Uta Bekaia, a Georgian artist living in nyc.
