I already said that n ill repeat " im not here to say or ask wat ppl wanna hear. For me the trance scene is mostly ruined by the power of money. Everything has become sooo pop!Party producers, dj,s R SO GREED, that the feeling today is "if my money worths to hear this guy playing". Once again, nowhere is free of this. From Bahia(BR)to Anjuna(IN),we can feel the evil forces of money working on ppl minds. So, are we the only thing that can change this? Am i too away idealist or most ppl dont even knows how it used to be n are conformed about wat it is now? Do u think everything is ok and "u lezuz r a fukin pessimist", or u dont, but u think theres nothing that u can do? Maybe its only a transition phase, where the past is lost n the future is about to begin, but where to go now, today, tonite? Where u gonna be for the new years eve??? |

We all pay for:
1. Albums
2. Parties
so:
There is commercial Trance; artist, that its very clear, make music to make money. their target is not the underground ppl only but mostly the mainstream ppl that they have to lead into the music in addition to the underground ppl that we are.
So you may love the music of Skazi , Hypersonic Or Infected or Not. they need the mainstream, they belive in the mainstream. And the price is chance in the music. So the only thing u can do is not to buy their albums. If you wont to take a stand. This stand has no power, but that's the heart of the Idealist. And that's who I am.
About the parties. There are underground and there are festivals to all ppl. Choose what u like.
As I said there are 2 kind of pp that artist aims to:
Underground, and all the rest. Trance is music to all ppl and not only to the true underground crowd.
That the way life is.
p.s. we still got many artists that create pure music with no consideration of money.

all joking aside, central asian traditional music can be extremely good and even psychedelic, definitely trance inducing at times.

If u make good music nowdays, probably u wont have a Porsche , because the good musicians r rarely recognized by the "mass", wich provides real money for mainstream artists. If someone really wants drive a Porsche, better go to law school or maybe study medicine, because being a Dj is gonna be a long way to get one. I think Tiesto drives a Porsche? Do u wanna make the Olpympics openning set in 2008 with him? |
