been raving past 10 yrs ..some of the parties at mumbai ... like jai hills were pretty rare and affectionate..
thnks...
I was imagning how abt parties at assam !!!
PPl the location is mind blowing ..stuff like small mini island arnd lakes and deep jungle trences would be blown with dark psy also sunrise ..music..
i am doing my bit of exploration but honestly the locs are blown ..
I mean raving arnd these jungles wud truly mean experimenting phemenons of the natures truth ..
let us know soon...

sounds like a nice plan.. I have seen pictures and assam looks really nice..
but is ti true that tourist need sepcial permission to visit this side of india?
if so it will be very hard to organise.. and bring people..

i was in Assam for a year and we made our own scenes. It was really nice for the 15-20 people to dance in little nooks amidst massive tea gardens. The only fear we had was of wild elephants who would be really silent while they walked.
Really miss the place and the crazy rice beer.
Foreigners do require a special visa to visit that side.....

I am from assam we do scenes in assam -
I am tryptamind a noob artist - so called artist from guwahati.
My bro - Felix - who also is from from the same place.
And another Psy artist from assam - Catalepsy - who passed away. A very close friend - a brother.last year. Rest in peace.
Yes we do some commercial scenes in assam - and many innumerable hush hush scens. but the thing there is only a small bunch of us - rest are just 'paaartaay peoples' xD but yes its a start - slowly getting there. MOst of sceners from assam are staying away from home - either studying in the metros and other big cities or abroad.
And no doubt about the north east - sheer beauty - from the meghalaya hills to nagaland tribes - to mizoram beautiful women...to lovely plains of assam. The music scene is very very rich there. Psy is still something new. People are more rooted to rock and soul music. bUT yea people are opening up to new sounds.
Sooner or later - we going to get there.

OH and yes !! permit for assam and meghalaya is not required -
Only other states such as nagaland - arunachal - mizoram -manipur - and which is not so hard to get.
And about river island parties ...eheheh ! we do them in the winters ! hush hush ! xD |

Hey people so its gud to know that there r ppl here who organise ..well well i am looking foward to hook up with u guys and organise parties all over north east I mean real green parties in the hills and some nature rich locations ..m looking foward to it so kindly let me know on my email it borgohainratnadeep@yahoo.in.

Hey hariom get in touch soon ....
basically I am an ex bombayite ...and now in assam ..
what I am working on is to arrange a psy party in some exotic location in north east hills !!
and wanting to invite the bombay crowd for a week ..
basically somewhat like 4 day nonstop party with tents and camping arrangement ..with long list of djs..this a idea ..want it to grow it big and make it happen ...lol magic from magic dust tryinn to get in touch with old friends...se ya ciao |

The list of DJs doesnt need to be long just keep it good and simple.
Mushrooms make you do crazy stuff. Look at Mario he jumps on animal heads and fights with dragons. |

Hmmmm...sounds nice..I was going through some photographs from the north east the other day..looks like the perfect place to chill..its a mix of nepal and goa..
and yes i very much look forward to chilling there...
