There are some at summer-time. I've never been to a swedish forestparty myself, but a lot of my friends have, and they say most of them are great. The swedish forests are big, and perfect for parties
It's too cold for outside doofs now though. Next partyseason should start around may next year.

I played at three this summer, and they were both nice. But everyone wants to make forest parties, so there are some less talanted/experienced organizers out there too...
but what exactly is it you want to know? |

Well, Mossmys2 was fun last summer, then they through another party the week after at the same place and some nutcase got stopped by the cops with FAR too much extascy in the trunk... (well dunno how much extascy is FAR too much tho) so the cops putted the party out of "Buissness"... but check out www.swedish-mushroom.com or www.mandarin.nu |

I have played a few open air gigs in sweden and there nature is perfect. Very thick and ancient pine forests & wonderful great lakes & beautiful hill sides. You think the fairy's and little people will come out and dance for sure, very mystical forests.
Police can be a right pain in the ass tho..
But hey, they are most places.

I love the nature in Sweden... I live near some old viking burial grounds with a lot of old wise oaks ('ents'). Too bad there are not too many parties in there. Ut ameris, amabilis esto. |

Yeah COPS are enoying for sure. But hey look at the bright side, we dont have so many here, but somehow they seem to turn up at every single psyparty. When I call them (which is never) they take them good time to get there, sometimes even 4 hours or so, claiming to be under manned. Sometimes they dont show up at all! But as soon there is a "rave" somewhere you can be SURE they show up! Hate the damn suckers!!! |

sometimes even without doing anything but watching us dance and whatever we are doing=) (wich is fucking annoying, but still better then when they pull the plug=()
But still the swedish forrestparties are great especially since we got the perfect deeeeep, greeeeen and mystical huge forrests..
give us a mess and most certian will take you there..

it has been a dream of mine since a long time and it will become truth i know it....a stunning party in the scando woods. during one night and day with very bad weather (in the weather case, "bad" means "good" to me ) wind, fog n a bit of rain. with some fraggles creeping to frightening music from beyond-beyond and beyond. flora and fauna as deko, leaves and roots as meal......mmmmh and then the woods start to whisper;)
does that happen overthere???
