Nicely put. Sums the described tracks up nicely. Tracks 3-5 are the highlight of the album for me. Track 9 is one of those I have to skip every time. It just rubs me wrong. As an overall package it's just as good (if not better) than the original. JMHO. |

This looks really nice, will have to get in my next chill order for sure, seems like a good year for chill. Heading into autumn and winter here, so hopefully I get a job and move back with my girl soon and we can spend winter listen to nice laid back tunes and keeping warm under the blankets

Till track 6 this VA felt like the best release in years. 3 wise monkeys was the best psydub I've heard in ages! Tau Keta hit a bullseye as well... played at a flea market y'day and it had everyone smilin'
Disappointed with track 9... not that its bad ... just that they don't fit with the flow at all. Probably the compiler trying to relive the moment from part 1 where the Midival Pundits remix was the centerpiece of them all. Would have worked better on a more mainstream Indian music VA.
Kali Ma???... don't know what you guys were thinking! lol Got so turned off that I couldn't even move on to the tracks after. It's confusing why the compilers being Israeli are still so smitten by the Indian concept! Wheres the Hebrew-chillout fellows ??... waiting for something like a dub remix of Eidan Raichel or similar.
So yeah, this is been on repeat from 1 - 6 and back again. Even with the misses this VA is gold. Excellent artwork too.

well I must give my two cents after a few listens...
First, this is a good comp' but I have to say it stands on it's own and doesn't feel to me as a continuity of the first one. Different vibe to it.
I agree on Tau Kita, wow and bombing wow! this is quite a feat! and to think it was waiting on the forum for so long to be picked up.
Tracks 7-9 are a bit corny or out of place. They are nice and good on their own but not here.
Maybe I'm biased but those positions could be filled like the first one with Cosmic Fools, J.Viewz & Jirah.
That said, I'm proud of this small Israeli 'scene' of chillers and wish them luck. They sound great!!! (Pi is goood )
Last, Aleph Zero 10x for raising the bar (all the time)!

the more i listen to it the more i like it. to me th ott remix is not that amazing. i mean its a great track but thats because of the original, as a remix its not that amazing. i expected more from ott.
my favorites here are 3 wise monkeys with a great live feel dub stuff, majan that just makes you wanna dance, the fuckin amazing tau kita with an epic psychedelic shpongle meets the floyd with russian acid drippin all over, agalactia & punditz with a track that makes me happy any time, pi with numb- is it just me or is it about a bong? and eitan reiter, this guy really has touch of gold- very special and frash tune.
best psychill release since younger brother and best psychill comp since the first natural born chillers. |
