I want to ask the producers today what is happening to them why is it that they are all going commercial? How can you produce music from your soul and then suddenly go commercial?? How can you go so low man? this is an issue which is driving me crazy cause i wait and wait foe a new album craving good music and when then it is released and i listen to it it would hardly contain 1 good track!!! Going commercial!!

That's easy.
Because people steal their music they need to go commercial to be able to get little money out of their hard studio work. |

Overall there are many many more psytrance albums prodused now then before. Ergo, there are just as many "good" psytrance albums today as before availible in the marked. Its just that there are also plenty of "commercial" albums out there, so its harder to spot the "good" ones now, then before.
Of cource we can talk about Infected, Raja Ram and so on going "commercial". But thats a issue thats been talked about to many times now IMO. So if you use the search button, you'l proberly find a topic conserning this issue. 
And what is commercial anyway? I dont think that GMS are gonna knock Shania Twain off the topp 20 section.  |

Define commercial.....please? Commercial to me is being released on Virgin Records, with massive copyright contracts, promotional material in record shops like HMV, INsanity and Tower Records.
Go into any of those stores and you will have one tiny rack of psy CD's.....names being Infected Mushroom and TIP World.
If you think all the music is commercial, then perhaps you are limiting your purchases.....listen to an album before you buy and if you don't like it....don't buy it.
And Ganjagil......when you make your first album and you go to 15 labels and they all reject it because it does not fit their style......and then you are forced to make some "commercial" music, then post it on here and tell us about it! |

Man there is no way that i will go ever commercial and i do not care about being rejected by the labels because that means that the labels are commercial also and i do not want to encourage anything that has to do with these stupid sounds and ego trips! I want trance not candy floss music!

mmmm you are right i also cannot understand how trance labels can release such music sometimes i say what were they thinking??? but anyway man now it is too late to do anything we just talk and talk for no use...I just wish that these kind of people get illuminated and think of doing something to save the world not continue putting it down! We are the generation that's supposed to make a change and instead our leaders are sending us back to MATERIAL and MONEY! It's a shame but it's true and all the newbies will think that is trance and all the spiritual, ritual meaning of it is being lost from time to time!

1000% , just Virgin is not commercial also . Commercial music is what promoted by advanced commercial form . Every music that have any advertisment is commercial . When you will understand that music can't be commercial but artist or promoter can be then you will live better life and stop using wacko logons .
Coomercial is not an opposite word for underground , underground goes an opposite with pop(popular music) . Pop is not meaning commercial , means popular . Commercial steps just help to promote less creative music . If you create your music by formulas like Skazi or GMs(from your own words because i don't listen to them to know) itmeans only that Skazi or Gms are loosy artists without talent nothing more .
bla bla bla bla as many said here . For real go produce high quality music and then sign on label who will release your music if you will thern you release will be close to 500 copies (then i don't even call you a musician) . Do what ever you like . |

You just sound very very very underground(so underground that you can't be even found) mate so many here don't like it that's way . Keep us all underground we still underground . If you want more underground listen to Bigwigs most freaky music around, these guys for sure not make music for money . |
