Sonic Dragon is proud to present the second full length album from Dustin Saalfield, aka Mr Peculiar, "Mind-Dala". Based in Melbourne, Australia, Dustin has been creating electronic music for over 15 years, playing live and travelling all over Australia, New Zealand, Japan and Europe, and releasing tracks on a multitude of compilations.
From as early as 1989 Dustin had been involved in various projects, producing hip hop, drum and bass and chilled out breakbeat music, before evolving into psychedelic trance. His first release as Mr Peculiar came in early 2001, on the Koyote Records compilation "Elephantitis". His debut album "Elements" was released by Tribeadelic in 2002, and since then he has had tracks featured on compilations from Spirit Zone, Tribeadelic, Beats and Pieces, Spectral, Procyon, Fragile Planet, Sphere, Oxygen, Green Ant and Mindfunk. Also, in collaboration with the Melbourne-based computer animation wizard "The Shapeshifter" he created a fully syncronised DVD entitled "Syncrosect", welding music and animation seamlessly together.
With a certain melodic and atmospheric sound that takes the listener beyond boundaries and shoots the mind's eye across the cosmos, Mr Peculiar's "Mind-dala" stands out as an innovative production in the psychedelic trance sound.

oh I agree!!! This is great news!!! Elements is one of my favorite full length albums ever...and after his set here in Boston back in 2003...I've been waiting to hear more of his music Best of luck to you Dusty!!

Ahhh niiiice...looking forward to hearing new Mr P...I'm sure its going to be a major leap forward from the Elements CD from years ago, which was one of my favourite albums for a loooong time...good luck Dusty!

Dusty is def my fav producer in oz. He just makes exactly the type of music I love and has been a big insperation to my own tracks...
Have been listening to the samples of the tracks of the CD and I absolutly love everything I have heard so far...I have a feeling that this cD is going to be one of my favs, listening to timeline now...It bloody awsome!!!! Love the guitar |

Well this album is the shiznit!!!!
Mesmerising soundscapes, ballsy basslines and squelchy synths with top notch production make ths a standout for me. One of the most creative producers going around is our Mr. P, take your music to the world mate coz my god does the world need to hear this album!
