Why is everyone complaining about how much new artists that make bad music on only music software programmes. All things with internet and mp3 and simple software music programmes are a good thing. Because then the real artists have to take thier music talent more serious, and create something new and well produced. Take MPDQX and ACDC for an example, they are creating fresh new music. |

Huh are ACDC into psytrance?
Real wicked, if they are so fuckin great how come i never heard of them? You dont need a spaceshipstudio to make awsome music. Just need to be creative and give it some time.  |

ACDC is what used to be Acid Casualties, a project of Spiral Trax. They are releasing some great sounds in the form of Kruger & Coyle's album, the remixes album of Saiko-Pod, etc.
This so-called housy trance is much more psychedelic if done well than most "real psytrance", whatever that might mean.

actually i dont give a fuck is the music is produced in cubase, fruity or with pure hardware... as long at the tunes are good im satisfied

that kruger & Coyle album is actually very very nice indeed, a bit housy, but with 2 or 3 great tracks, and in my opinion, i don´t care or even bother to know if this or that track is make with hardware only or with software only, cause sometimes people with a good soundcard are achieving a much better sound with only software rather than people with lots of hardware (and low skills) |

some wrote shitty music with a million dollar studio.

From artists who use software to Digital Structures and ACDC in 80 days? Intresting fact is that DS and ACDC artists using hardware. So maybe you wrong, logically. |

A bit off topic, but I am curious as to whether or not Haltya used live instruments in their last album. I would be really surprised if all of those instrumental parts are all sampled? Can someone enlighten me?

EYB, Kruger and Coyle should be discussed here because of two main reasons.
1.Sebastian Kruger one of old timers, Tarsis and SBK
2.Their music much more psychedelic than progressive
The question why they are the subject? There is no connection between subject and K&C. |

I can't believe that that is what you understood from my post.
I won't even clear it up.
But we are getting way off topic here.
In my (unprofessional) opinion, hardware is not at all required in the making of quality music. Of course, getting your hands on a piece of physical equipment is very often more fun and might stimulate one's imagination more. However, I believe that in at most 5-10 years from now, the software will allow us to do much more than hardware. The possibilities are endless with software as there are absolutely no boundaries to what kind of sound can be made. I forget who it was that said that within the next 100 years, science will achieve everything that we think is possible and most of what is impossible. Well, the same applies to electronic music and to any means of creating it.
