Hi Moki > thanks for the words on the pictures, do let me know if you need any assistance to plan your trip.

@krunal >> Yes bro i did make it to both places, spending only an hour in dalhousie though..dalhousie is a good place to see the panorama of pir panjal range quite crowded if you head in season, and khajjiar also but khajjiar is more wild and one can venture around in the dense cedar forests around the meadow also small walks to the villages nearby are possible.

Also when heading to khajjiar the best way to spend time in these forests is to live in kalatop forest rest house which is in the middle of the kalatop sanctuary, booking can be made in forest department chamba. its serene 3 km forest reserve area, where black bear can be spotted if lucky..its about 10 km ahead of dalhousie on the khajjiar road.

P.S >> can somebody share a good link on sikkim at the month of february, if all regions are possible to travel ??

hehe krunal, soon i'll be chained
you have some inside information on sikkim ? I heard one cannot go to north sikkim unless tied up in a tour agency package and also a Inner line permit will be made which makes sure we dont stay up in north sikkim for over 5-6 days

what a load of crap i tell you..this bit of news may damage my plans..so if this does not work out i might head to kinnaur again..considering, I am running out of places of visit to think ..spiti/ladakh is closed kashmir is not really a good place to travel alone, right ? can you or anyone else suggest me some other places ?

well i've heard bout a yellow forest in sikkim but not sure if it really exists!!
i think the inner line permits are only for foreigners & not for indians so inquire again.
i'll also chk my lonely planet if it has ne info regarding the same.

u can also try going to binsar bro (if u haven't been there already)

i think even dodital is quite doable at this time of year if ur lookin for an small excursion maybe u can camp there in peace at this time of the year]

Hey krunal i spoke to the tourism department indians need an ILP since its a sensitive area.

I have been to binsar and dodital 5 years back
I was actually reading about dodital today and i was wondering if i could go there..the trek was really mystical

i am thinking of har ki dun/dodra/kwar area of HP..if nothing works out..i might as well wait for ladakh/spiti to open up, and gear myself with a good tent etc.

anymore suggestions bro? in the month of march.

where as i m not sure if u can do the har-ki-doon trek in this time of year (without taking quite amt. of risk from snow & sudden climate change i.e.)
