how cold is it going to be in the day in april and how cold at the night???

Dont know about the altitude but make sure you get a nice hat for the morning n afternoon.The sun is quite strong.At night a light jacket will be of good help.Its in the hills so it can get a bit chilly. |

Been a while since we wrote here.. so i see lot of Q's have popped in but most have been replied by our fellow tribe members.. yes the climate will be between 10*C-25*C.. little friendly showers can be expected too.. u never know what magic music can doo .. in prime time afternnon can be quite sunny so ur shades are must.. rest all is looking gr8 with all your support and positive energy

spacecake, baba we need some more info from you..
we are bunch of people planning traveling by train till gorakhpur then crossing the border to nepal and catching a bus.
but just read a news that due to some ongoing political crisis at the border area there has had been curfew for past few days which has crippled the daily life. Due to the strike, transportation had halted and markets and offices had remained closed in the district since last Friday, thus people have been stranded in the border area and not able to travel. strike has left hundreds of travelers stranded along major highways. also big fuel shortage all over the country.
The indefinite strike called by some political parties in border town has continued to cripple life in the district. Market has remained shut creating a shortage of essential supplies to the locals. Vehicles have been halted hindering the mobility of travelers. Schools and offices have also remained shut.
read that the curfew to be lifted off today, but there is news that strike to resume from April 7.
so please do update us on this...we don't want to travel all the way by train to the border town only to be stranded there not being able to travel to kathmandu.

There was some trouble at the border town recently.
as of now the borders are open.Due to the election in India the borders might be sealed off.I dont think there will be trouble to get in the country cause elections in India will end soon.However i will keep you all posted on whats happenin this side.The curfew has already been lifted as well.

Yes its cool for the people plannin on coming by road as well.The weather has also improved a lot.We've had a bit of rain n the weather now is simply magic.Dont forget to get some warm clothes for the night n the shades for the day.........
