Let me introduce myself.
I am justin and i am basicly going around to as many trance and dance website and soon magazines to really find out who is the most wanted artists in the psy trance scene today.
I have been doing this for about 3 months now and i will carry on utill the summer.
below wil be a list of arists for you all to choose from, now when you choose please try to choose honestly, by that i mean if you want to vote of an artist but you think others may think your taste sucks.....Try to vote for one that has a good sound, interesting ideas, stands out or one that moved you personaly, one that rocks the party and you feel has made a contribution to the psytrance scene.
I hope you all vote....Some of you say this may be stupid thing to do and a waste of time, but I still would like to know WHO IS THE MOST WANTED ARTIST OF TODAY ?

Ummm... My vote would then have to go to Infected Mushroom. They ment alot to me.

From this list and talking about all times my vote goes for Infected Mushroom, probably they are the most wanted group anyways. |

But if I were to choose, it would probably be rinkadink or dino psaras.
With the exception of the latter, I believe that the only contribution made by the remaining artists is the commercialization of trance. That is my opinion.
Carry on though with your study and post your findings, I'm curious to know which artist charges the most for a live act. It used to be Astral Projection (10 000$) but today who knows?  |

for me it's Protoculture
mind-blowing sound, most of his ideas are like polished diamonds, just so pure. nate definitely rocks any party and i hope he will contribute more killer tracks to the psyscene.
in short, he represents my image of how a top well-known psytrance artist should be nowadays.
ps: long time ago i would have answered infected mushroom.... not anymore.

in this case i'd say the old IM. you're right, they are the reason why i got into the scene (the gathering, classical mushroom  ).
but just past sunday i heard the new IM live... yea, its killa produced music with loads fx, singing, huge light show, and guitarist, but.. sorry, not what i want.
