in hambourg in the clubs it's proggy style...or there are also techno-clubs. psy-parties are rare, but now outdoor-parties are mixed...
i would say here in the north people prefer progressive, yes it's more popular!!! |

it's funny, i think the more you go south the more people like full on...
last year at the boom-festival the people (mostly portugese, spains, intaliens) were crazy for full on! there was hardly any proggressive sound played...
so in hamburg we have a big proggressice scene, but how is it in south germany?
hey gyus, we don't hear much about you in the south, what's going on? |

al the parties i go to in bavaria are mainly progressive, tribal etc, but then once in a while there is some fullon.

hey,
i´m from the south of germany, my favorit trance style is progressive and many ppl i now also prefer it.
I was at many party´s in switzerland and there is mainly progressive sound. |

High there....
most fav in german trance is Xenomorph for sure...
His style is awsome and nearly undescribable, dark evil beautifullllllll of terrifying atmosphere....GRRRRRRRRR Killer....!!!!
I live in the progressive dominated part of Germany, and can't wait for this rare festivals to come in the near future, where I can rock my ass off........

I think its hard to say which part of germany is full on and which is progressive.
i would say that full on got bigger the last years and somehow also splitted the scene.you can now find pure full on partys or strictly psychedelic partys.i prefere a mixture of both styles though.
many djs who played prog stuff play full on again(for example antaro)
uk trance also becomes very popular here.many djs like peter hollenbach(mahasuka) and s.b.k play that style today.

Well , although full on is the major trance style here in Portugal , you can find a very healthy progressive scene in Lisbon (not realy in the rest of the country) - in two days we will have a party with Son Kite , Chris Cargo , Peter Didjital , and we have very often prog house/trance in 2 clubs in Lisbon , names like Tim Healey , Moshic , Phillip , Emok , Constance Jouneys (now known as Suzy Susuki) , Mahasuka , Filur , Sebastian Kruger , Greg Coyle are just some of the artists who had played here.
Also you have some portuguese dj´s playng also prog stuff (trance and house) , Like me , Pena , Bart , Ferro , John-e and Gustavo.
In a very short space of time , you maybe will know the first portuguese prog label - Feed Me Records , that is runned by me , Pena and Bart.
Here are our 3 first releases (the first one will hit the stores in mid september , if everything goes as planned)

let me know if some of the portugese progressiv djs plays in hambourg or near and i'll check it out... any festivals here you are going to?
