I heared that MDMA are releasing an album called "Distorted Patterns", by some artist called Moshic...
never heared of this guy - is this gonna be a trance album? or is MDMA releasing different styles of music?

Wow, that is pretty surprising. Moshic makes extremely dark, often minimalistic progressive house. He works with Zidan quite a bit, but also goes solo occasionally. Really good tunes all around, but a far cry from psytrance.
I'll definitely be looking forward to his album!

not that far a cry from Psytrance I'd say. I can play some of his stuff pitched up and mixed into. one of the more interesting israeli artists at the moment and the MDMA conection is not surprising, Avi Yosef is the guy's personal manager.

Moshic is brilliant in his style...some of the big house dj's have his music, great producer !!!

Zomb. - No. Moshic is from the Israeli Karachana center (Kraiot) and his name is Moshic Shlomi.
Shlomi Zidan (who isn't Even realy a zidan i think it was zinian or something like that) is from J-Lem.

I don't know if there's a post of him already, but I just wanted to express my gratitude and love towards this gods gift to house music
Along with Son Kite's leap into house scene with their project Minilogue, Mo Shic is the best thing I've heard in the form of house music for ages. I just listened to his BBC Essential Mix (23.02.2003) this morning and it was INCredible! I enjoyed every single track he played very much, which doesn't happen too often when I hear house music.
My roots are deep down in the progressive-minimal-trance and I really dig the depths of that kind of musical impression and the joy it brings through subtle things. Now this guy has the depth but he works on all levels. He throws in some serious magic to produce the strongest and lighest euphoria I've ever experienced through music... and it's not so subtle anymore! This guy knows how to get high on music and he's not afraid of sharing his incredible talent just the way he likes it.

yep, MoShic is a nice producer and dj, heard him play couple of couple of times and always been good. the mix u talk about also realy nice but a bit dark to me.
