Wait a minute dude, if you don't like or can't understand dark melodies, it is better to stay quiet!

The same way there are some melodies you like on the kind of trance music you like, me and a lot of other people like sick and demented melodies on the kind of trance we like, right?

I agree there are lots and lots of just noisy music being called dark trance, but let's NOT generalize, shall we?

for the guy who started this topic, if you want to experience some dark and sick melodies, check ka-sol, battle of the future buddhas, the old xenomorph, ghreg on earth and some others you may discover by yourself

What's this negative input good for?
And why would I use goolge if I 'could' get a straight forward answer to my question on this board?
Some good reccomandations could never harm, but apparently you think different.

Perhaps we should also include the stereotypes ? Just to add a new dimension to what is what.

Full On = Super commercial music, noone cares for it, just made for making money.

Dark = Untalented noise, just made by people who dont know how to make full on and have to settle for noise.

Progressive = The same as full on, only made by people with poor nerves, therefore a much lower intensity.

Morning = Music played when its morning, nobody really can aggree on what it is. It really depends on whether you like commercial for the money music, or you dig the talentless music instead. Perhaps you have bad nerves in the morning, then you go progressive.

More stereotypes ?

Btw - Psytones nailed it with his last post

Maybe I can relate to you:

Dude, whether something is dark, morning, trauma, full-on, or ultra-israeli-super-pop-go-go psy, that should not matter to you.

I started listening to psy at the end of 2002. I got myself into it by listening to some free mp3s of astral projection on MP3.com. To me it was trance. Whether it was euro, club, or psy didnt matter to me. I loved astral to death, and I decided to read more about them. It was then that I learned that I was listening to goa. It was from then on that I discovered more and more on my own. I didn't discover that isratrance existed until the summer of 2003. And even still, I never asked people here what full on or what dark was.

Like someone else stated, you should look around, read, listen to the music, and discover the answers to these questions yourself. At least in the end you can decide what you really enjoy instead of getting an opinion from someone who states "Isareli full-on sucks cuz it's commerical. Listen to Kindzadza. That's where the sound is at."

Krell:

That's pretty funny, LOL.

Good luck bro.

i got to listen to some infected early tracks from classical mushroom around 1999-2000, and i had listened to trance but when i hear this i really knew it was something else , trance but not related to the paul van dick, global undershit, that was being heard. i loved it, for the first time i liked dance music!! i thought id never would!! from then on ive collected every track no matter what style, so i can listen to all an make my own mind. stereotypes sucks and the acts i like are the one that cross boundaries, between all these so called subgenres
listen to all psytrance and then get ur own opinion

whoever started this thread... dude, trust me. Just get ur hands on everything. Without experiencing the different sorts of styles, the labels etc.. u'll never figure it out. Bollocks to what everybody else might tell you.

Buy lots of hash.. and smoke or not and listen to them all. Whatever artist gives u a certain emotion through they're musical style and u can identify this music with a cetain time in the day, thats all u shud care about. Maybe you might like to hear Solar Fields around Midnite or CPC during the day it doesnt make a difference. This is all subjective to ur taste and it will be purely for you.

But enough of the gyaan, i'll recommend u some shit.

Dawn - Filteria
Daytime - Cosma
Afternoon - Sphongle
Dusk - Sandman
Night - Kindzadza
.. now ur on ur own.
