hmm.. well... what a nice party!!
the party was in a huge underground parking lot in south T-A, great place, graet deco, great music!
lineup - avi nini and .. hmm.. sorry cant remember. back to back set .nice music for the begining of the night, i was to tired so i went sleep.. but woke up just for Mumbo Jumbo's Set (was it bilbo baginz ? ? ) , hmm what can i say great set, great dj!! i didnt liked the music he played but he sure knew what the crowd wanted so he playd non stop full-on with lots'a Gmsish and israeli tunes.. the crowd went crazy! i didnt... then at 6:00 or something came nikita with great great music!! then i started pumping.. but a friend had to go home so we left after half an hour.. hmm what can i say more..? the crowd was mixed. i'm starting to hate trance partys and the whole trance scene in israel.. it becomes so fake! damn it! but forget about it.. i love you ppl(you know who i mean to)

p.s - it was avi nini and huda-g Respect! ! !
and i forgot the last set.. was by Darwish and nadi , also missed necmi's set.. but hafif .

great production domo and moksha!

They wanted 100nis for an indoor party in Tel-Aviv,WHICH IS WAY TOO MUCH!
Where the hell do you think you are? With all this rediculous Japanese deco you have lost your minds.

I must admit that there were nice faces though'. I got there on the back to back set of Avi&Huda, which has finished with the classic BLT- The Calling(c.d. version),which was warming up very nice for Necmi.
Necmi started very Proggy and i was flying there with his first tunes. Than i don't know what happened, the sound went very bad, maybe since we were in this parking lot, and slowly but surly his set went out of order... I found no logic in it, some tunes wich made you feel sounds of dark 80's, also Necmi-sign(can you just get rid of these two samples? "Hello everybody, how are you?" or "This should be played at high volume") ,and some super psychedelic with full-on touches... well, that was too much for me. But to sum it up, it was refreshing indeed.

The cream was Mumbo-Jumbo yesterday, that had realy enchanted the dance floor. Inteligent and interesting sounds, rich with a blissfull psychedelic disharmony. I was dancing like a 5 year old between light drops of rain.
Yeah, it was just a magic or mumbo-jumbo, we were all under a spell, 'till he started with "kitch" and over chewd-up morning tunes of Astrix...

That was the part which i said to myself, remember this party that way, in order to preserve the good taste you had in your mouth...

Thanx again again everybody.

ok, for me this party has some mental points.
6 years before at same place asher haviv's party was brutaly busted by police, so last night i came to same place to finish what was began a while ago.
nice deco and lights work, good setup for urban cave party.
avi nini vs huda g - great set. realy.
necmi - refresh but indeed litlle not to the point. but nice anyway, darkish powerly progressive psy night trance.
mumbo and nikita - was busy on drinking and baloning. not my music for sure. both.
in the end nadi and david played minimal full on to few ppl that stayed till this hour. was nice indeed.
left with big headache and fat smile on my face.           Believe your soul !

well...
what can i say...
first, 100 shekel as NiRi said is way too much for these kind of party, what happend to moksha's old 80 shekel reguler price???
second, the sound, well, it was the worst sound that i have ever heard, basment sound chocked from reverb, no high no mid only bass ,kick and echo...
seems like Avi Nini ad Huda g set was nice but i couldnt realy hear so...
necmi was pretty awaful imo , no connection in the set just alot of unconnected treks with kind of amuter mixing... maybe his music was good but agian i couldnt realy hear...
and Mumbo Jumbo well i was realy expecting for his set but it was too much i went home in the beggining of his set... :-(
i like moksha's parties very much, the people (which were good in this party too , the deco which was also nice) and the vibe in their parties but this party was real dissapointing for me...
i hope next time will be better
and btw not allowing to get into the party with Nitrox, WTF ????

About the sound,

no MID freqs at all whatsoever - every track played seemed the same although I didn't care - it would've been much more exciting to actually hear some notes playing and not just the kick and bass.

except the sound, everything went smooth and everyone seemed happy. Good Chai.

well, here is my point of view- avi and huda gave a nice set a bit too full on with clubby touches for my taste. and a big big show off by avi, seems like now days its more important to give a dramatic show than to kill some heads.. necmi was nice, some killer tunes but moved too quikly from club, to 80's like nir said, to minimal. missed organisation in his set, and mixing skills to learn. ( but he was really stoned so.. )
mumbo jumbo was great i was to bussy going to the ballons and back to explode from his great great set. ( and indeed the not allowing nitrox in was fucked up but gave a nice family vibe to the fuck heads up stairs..
nikita- wow a very good set i heard in a long time. seems he is hooked up with domestic pixel subsix gang or adlist to their tracks.. and i loved every minute of his great set. like always the good satyed at the end. nice deco. too high price.
not nice to see that moksha gave their name for money ( not allot of their usual crowd, even some of the organizers didnt show up.. ) but heck we knew what we are going too.
had a great time with my double B booz and baloonz..
bom
oh the sound sucked but in a place like that if you raise the mid and treble you are going to get such a crappy sound, full of feedbacks and ear ache that believe me they did their best with the location. bom

well this is my point of view:
NirI:
I totally not agree with you about a money subject.
Did you ever organized a party with two foreigner artists?
Don't you know that outdoor party much cheeper to make?
You know how much money they payed to make this event?
So stop calling ppl theevs, brother.
Ppl make a good work and put in it lots of energy and nervs.
Next time don't think only about yourself.
We live in a very problematic times with all the financial crisis in our country.
Peace.

2 foreign artist- avarage of 500$ pay + travel expences= 2,500-3000 $
deco- tops 200-300 $
2 sets of turbo + generators ( although i gues there was electricity there.. )
1200$
not true about the cheaper in outdoor- more risk of ppl not coming a hell lot of expences of just bringing all the equipment there.. but never mind that..
now lets go for the high prices although the german dude is kind of new in the scene and i am sure he took less money, i am sure there was electricity there and i am sure they already had half the deco ... but for your respect..
4,500 $ ( most of the other dj's were from domo whom produced the party aswell.. so i am not counting more money..)
shonot- 500 $
lets say security not included in the shonot- 500 $ more and i am going crasy here..
5,500 dollars-26,345 israeli shekel
700ppl*100= 70,000
ok lets say only 500 ppl = 50000
oops my mistake from wanting so bad to give you a shot with high expences ( i am sure it was less ! ) i forgot the bar .. oh yes the bar- if they had it in consignation like most of us party makers do the profit is all theirs- and if you dont know the normal profits of a bar in trance party then your reply is not worth even a wink.. ;-) it's allot more money to the pocket dude. so happens that nir and myself make parties- know the risks and all. and we will never take more than 80 sh. never!!!
oh and moksha used to take 80 aswell with even more than 2 out of israeli djs. and because of that finance problem its rude to take so much.
check your facts dude, dont tell ppl they think of themselves when they do all the hard work of making parties ( and we do it with not a big crowd and and a big name like moksha we really dont earn that money.. ) - the details is everything in life.
and big peace and love back at you friend

I will not share with you our exact expences but if we're speaking about miscorrection than first of all there were three sets of turbo sound on the spot, second there were ten guards on the spot so if you can bring me guards from an official company for 10 hours on a friday close to new years for 50$ each I'm waiting for your call, and third if you can arrange deco to fill this place and turn it from a normal parking lot to a fully decorated place (I'm not talking about taste here, I'm sure you would love some indonesian lunghis instead, won't you Niri?) for that 200-300 $ you were talking about we're in.
And last but not least regarding us trying to get a name over moksha's back-again Niri I suggest you turn to the moksha guys with that and they will tell you where this collaboration is coming from (certainly not your twisted theory)
Dont you understand that with this very very bad situation we're facing here (nationally and partywise) what us orgenisers need is support and creative criticism and not mud throwing and more wars.
I urge all you fast talkers to count to ten before you say things you're not sure of or might hurt people who are doing these parties FOR YOU.
Whoever knows me knows that I'm not the militant type and even though these false accusations deserve a more aggresive respond, I choose to try and explain our side of the story, because especially now if we do not join and help this scene out of its shitty position of fighting and messing around there will be no scene to cure.
And what will you have to bitch on if we will not exist? if 80% of the promoters stop making parties because they're sick of the general attitude around?
Think about it

Hello.
I have something to comment , for the party organizers.
Well, yeah, I am short in money but I decided to come and see Mumbo jumbo, and I came from afar . and I brought 5 friends with me and until 4 am we sat home and thought "sould we go or not? it costs like 100 nis" and then I said we MUST go cause its gonna be a great party and maybe they will get us in 50 cause we come so late.
so at 4 am we started going out after thinking of going and discussing it over 2-3 hours.
at 5 am we reached the gates . I must say I felt a good vibe and thought we did the right thing.
when we got into the paying area , we bumped into some girl and David , we smiled kindly and asked them if they could make us a huge favour and get us in for 50 each (even tho at 5-6 am I think it should be FREE) and they refused getting us in . two friends had 80 nis and got in .
I was wandering outside thinking what to do , I had 50 nis in my hand and a big desire to come and join this big celebration and watch those great artists inside, but instead, I got a spit in my face . greatly someone saw my problem and helped me . because the trance crowd is made out of SUCHA good people, just too bad the organizers are NOT. I mean, you make great parties , great decoration, great artists, great locations, how come you don't let your crowd to come in ? so... it's all about $$$ or good vibe? I sometimes don't get it .
Next time on invitations should say "if you're not rich , do not come to our parties! "
Lets face it guys, entrance 100 nis , plus people buy a lot of alcohol and a lot of water and drugs , it's like you have to come with 300 nis to a party to settle down , what have we done to deserve this?! I know a lot of good people who stopped going to parties cause its a real rip off, and I know many who are quitting now, so lets stop the madness and bring the good vibe back!
and the feeling that if one brother is in trouble, the organizers can considerate and understand , cause after all, noone is planning doing harm .
and sending people who came from afar home because they didnt have extra 30 nis is really evil and painful to see.
hope you will consider this .

Somewhy i allways see this bitchin about prices come up at some point of an organisers life.
Happened to Oma Coma, Dinamo, now it's Moksha and Domo.
Guys, please remember it's not cheap to make a party like this one. and allthough we would all love to make cheap parties the only way to make events of this size is to charge 80-100 NIS at the door.

the major point all of you forget is that 8-10 people worked their ass off for more then a week to produce this party. don't you think that time is money in this case? Jacky, in your calculation one of the main factors missing is manpower, working time. not only DJ's and soundsystem get paid for.

last time me and my friends did a small party we were all working dayjobs and we know that if we had some more free time for production the party would have looked much better, so if you want profesional party organisers that do good profesional parties you need profesional promoters.

Not talking about the Chem toilets...           Kinetic Honda GmbH, Worldwide Supliers of Quality noise.
