Since we heard about that Party I knew we were going to be there.
How can't we go with a line up like this one? (Molecular,Vibrasphere and Sento Sento launching their new album)

We've been waiting for this party all week, and I even had trouble sleeping before it.

So, after we got my father's acceptance for driving us all the way to the party (my father is the only father I know whose open minded enough to take his son to such party), I packed my little bag and we were on our way to the party.
We finally arrived at the place, after driving 1.5 hours, we saw the organizers and somebody approached us, saying the ticket price. We prepared our money and he was going to sell us the ticket, but then he said:"excuse me but: how old are you?". I immediately said we're 16.5, thinking it's not such a big deal. Then the orginizer said: "If you're 16.5 you can't get in".
Just like that, without any hesitation. We thought he was joking, because we've been to the previous Moksha party and then they seemd to have no problem with getting us in.
When we understood he was more than joking we asked him why, and he said that party is for 23+, and alcohol is sold there, and he can't be responsible for us drinking alcohol when the police comes.

Firstly, let me just say I feel fucked.
I've felt fucked many times in my life: fucked by the educational system, fucked by big monopolies, fucked by government officials and so.
But I have never felt fucked by somebody whom I consider to be a part of my community, somebody whose probably been fucked by all those things above, and knows what it is to be fucked knowing you have nothing to do about it.

Secondly, I'm sure that if the police comes the organizers will have much bigger problems to deal with then some stupid teenagers drinking alcohol (and we didn't even think about drinking, for christ sake), and if they wanted to keep us "clean" so badly they could have just ask for and ID card at the bar.
and besides, two of the Sento Sento trio are 16 or 17 if I'm not mistaken. So WTF was he talking about?

I thought this kind of parties is not about alcohol or any other drugs, but about the music and keeping what's left of the goa "spirit" alive.
I guess I'm wrong.

I came back home with my head "down", thinking about how unfair it is that if I was only 6.5 years older I'll be able to see my favorite artists in action, and this was the only thing that prevented me from entering to the party, completely ruining my weekend and my entire sukot vacation.
I felt rejected, and I'm still feeling that way.

Anyway, now I understand I'm not wanted at Moksha parties, and of course I'll most certainly won't be present at their parties anymore.

I hope you all had a better weekend than I had ,
TiM

I'm so sorry Timmy for what happened to u.
You're right, it's unfair to make selection in an outdoor party.
Timmy, I know it's disapointing, but there's not only Moksha u know. There will be others, and I will make sure u know about other worthy events personally.           Majority is never right!

Thank you all for the support.

When I'm facing a goverment official, a teacher or whatever, I might want to lie in order to obtain something from them.

When I'm facing a party organizer, whom I consider to be a part of my very own community, almost a friend, I don't want to lie.
I think my age should not be a factor at all. With all due respect, I came for the MUSIC and not for the people.

And besides, a 20 year old guy coming to a party with his father could be odd

well as much as i know how ure feeling (been there!) i think that with all due respect, try 2 understand the orgenizers side. if the police would have arrived and caught them selling alcohol 2 underaged people there is nth in the world that could have helped them avoid a sentance, and i am asking u, what would u feel if it will happen?           "...God made weed, Man made booze. yeah, i know what you're talking about timmy, i think most trancers here know it, most of us wanted to go to parties when we were younger and got the underage stamp pushed in our face, but you find the parties you know you can get into with no hassle, and ultimately, you grow up, and get no trouble anywhere. time takes care of everything, i know i was also hurt by these things at first, but then i thought of it from the producer's side, and i got to understand them better (guess i came more prepared because of my bigger brother).
well, hang in there, and tell your dad he's great didn't see many like that           Super-teen extraordinaire Freakazoid! Freakazoid!

Believe me, we tried.
All the way back we thought how they heck could they have done that to us.

In the invitation they sent us in E-Mail they didn't write about any age limitation, or alcohol or anything like that.

They wrote about the music, and that's what we came for.

And as I said, there are other things they should worry about when the police comes. I think you know what I'm talking about

Yeah, freakazoid, I hope the good times will come

Thanks for the support, and let's forget about it, shit happens
