Would be foolish to not start a eurorack modular.

The macBeth stuff is hi end, although it costs an arm and a leg. Lets see how much this one is going to cost.

Peace out.

the demo dont really show the lfo speed and how snappy the envelop are, the m3x lack the punch of the minimoog from what i have read i hope this one deliver for percussive sound.

I was looking at various companies hardware comparing prices of their base models (torturing myself), PAiA looks like a good option for a reasonable price. Im hoping to add a small modular system to my live setup, something with enough options to be interesting but few enough to be quickly patched so I can manage other instruments alongside           .

i was looking too as i would like like to invest in hardware synths next year,my first priority is drums and strange percussive sound, dunno what is the best route for this?cwejman stuff could be well suited i think?
or maybe going frac i love the sound of blacet vco and just see some module made my metalbox that could really suit my needs if it deliver the sound.
the easier route would be that macbeth synth if its capable of making good percussion

Ive seen some circuit bent TRs on ebay now and then, so that might be an option If you can afford it the DSI Tempest looks SWEEEET and looks like it can do all sorts of sounds           .

i m thinking to a little modular cause of money, buying a module here and there so i m not broke. but i dont know what route to go, what is the most intresting format , do you know? i was thinking to euro or frac..blacet module look fine to me and not super expensive dunno if its a good choice

Blacet looks alright, seems pretty bread-and-butter, some of the modules seem like they could make some nice oddity. Having to choose between MIDI-to-CV and an LFO though, thats kinda a deal breaker to me, without an LFO it would be like chopping off an arm, and a modular I cant control via MIDI would be like chopping off the whole body. I guess its not that much more expensive relatively to get the LFO or MIDI module also.

Thats how they get ya i guess. Im looking at PAiAs site right now and their system is similar, no LFO, but its only 560 US           .
