someone write todays psytrance is modern psytrance.
i write todays psytrance is old not psytrance due to it is the same old base line of 2002, 2003 years having nothing to do with psychedelic trance.
That's annoying.
Modern psytrance must be strong goa trance
dancefloor don't want it, who care?
Music is for brain first.

no man, it's annoying to read your endless drivel every other week about musical bigotry. Let's see if your line thought makes any sense, basically today's psy trance is old because it has the 'same old bassline of 2002, 2003.' yet... we should go back to old goa trance from 1995-9 because that's supposed to be 'modern' psy trance? regardless of whether i like goa or full on, or not, your argument makes no sense, as usual. Let's stop telling people what's supposed to be pyschdelic and what is not, We'll just decide that ourselves...

I think he means modern goa in the sense that the music should retain its goa roots *melodic* content but move ahead of the plastic bassline to something meatier with the help of good production ? Something on the lines of what kinetopsya and mr peculiar are doing
If you;'re talking about that alec then i now know the 'STRONG GOA TRANCE' that you've been ranting about for so long .

Well,
- first step is to get over the fact that psychedelic trance is splitted in many genres now...
- second step is to get over the fact that many psychedelic music of today does not sound like the old school music at all...
- third step is to find out about modern goa trance acts that make old sound but with modern synths and productions... and well, check out our label for that (www.suntriprecords.com) very likely you like it... Soon there will be more music like this as it seems more labels start to get interested! |
