Thanks for the answers guys. Futuretro is to expensive. in that price I can get 101. I have to spend 600-700$ max so this is only a half of Xs price. Need to go to good music store and listen moog or arturia. I know that they will not sound exactly as 101 but i want something similar. |

^ soo, what's the joke? don't get it...
i have the sh-101 and am very happy with it. won't trade it off as long as i make music and/or enjoy the company of synths. but when it came to choosing between a tb-303 (1400€) and a custom built x0x with all kinds of nice extras (600€) the clone won. haven't had any regrets about it. if somebody will actually do a sh-101 clone that sells for around 500€ (this will be the biggest problem since the 101 does not have such a high cult price as the 303 has) i fully understand if people will go for one...

for the price of a nord or a waldorf it was probably possible to buy a 101 a pro one and a ms20.. just speculating but it s probably not far |

I have a 101 and a Minibrute and they don't sound similar in the slightest. However I do really enjoy playing with the Minibrute and for the price you can't go wrong. (remember the 101 has no MIDI and a kenton pro solo is extra expense too). The Minibrute filter is very flaccid compared to the 101,but it is multimode so makes a bigger variety of sounds. I think I would rather go with new analogue over old just cos I can return it if faulty.
