hey, nothing to be sorry! i really respect your opinions
its great to talk about mma in a psy forum with people from all over the world. i guess all we hope it continues growing
About lesnar, like i said for me just one more. but i have to admit that he is very fast on the ground (for a guy with that size). i guess we have to give some credit of course

ps: just a correction, belfort beat tank abott in ufc13, and not ufc brazil like i said. sorry

i think i just thought strange to put in the same bag, and dont differ between classic guys (old-timers that develop this sport, champions in many tournaments, including ufc, since long time ago) and guys that have fight only 3 times in ufc, and never fought with the tops

its just strange with so many monsters i said, and you talk about....shane carwin (fought 3 or 4 times in ufc, never with a top), cain velazquez (6 fights in his life, never fight a top guy) and cheike kongo (again the same, and the only brazilian he fough was assuerio silva). nothing impressive till far, long road to them.

i understand that you are commenting on the current competition, but erase almost 20 years of history is quite crazy.

i think the current fighters that can make the history of this sport are (if they didnt make already):
lyoto the dragon
anderson silva
GSP
BJ Penn

comparatively to older fighters these guys just took it one step higher....the are the real mixed martial artists...with at least two black bealts (one ground, one standing)...another dimension compared to anyone else...

in heavyweight fedor has the potential...he did fight some of the best but not these "new" fighters which are just as scary as old legends!...but as you said he still needs to put himself in the cage (no kick to face and more rules)...which will happen very soon i think!!

respect the legends but the sport is evolving every year....and fighters follow!!

yes, i agree with you. those fighters are amazing.
anderson silva is really a modern ninja, he shows how much this sport can evolve like you said. talented in all areas. also bj penn and lyoto. thats what i was talking about

maybe i didnt make myself clear, i was not defending just "old legends", as i love new generation fighters.
i was saying that i prefer talk about and keep my eye in anderson silva, bj penn, and guys like you said than be talking about an unknow just because hes 'heavyweight'. but who knows, maybe a newcomer with many skills!

yes, i totally agree the sport is evolving. but i think this statement has many sides.
legends also evolve. vitor belfort, minotauro and many others are oldtimers that still are the best in the world.
experience do make a difference

it would be incorrect to say only newtimers are rocking mma. theres a big difference between "new generation" and newcomers.
bj penn and others we commented are not exactly 'new' on this. anderson silva has 10 years or more in the best mma competitions

GSP is killer

now we just need the PMMA, psychedelic mixed martial arts. fighters smoke a chillum before the fight to show respect, hot hippie girls

Did anyone get a chance to see The Ultimate Fighter s10 e03 yet?

I will see it later today, the time has come for Mr Kimbo Slice to prove what he can or as many believe can't do.

I saw it, but I wont spoil for anyone just yet

Sooooo 24th of October it's time for Mr. Lyoto Machida to go up and defend his LH (205lbs) belt against one of my favourites Mr. Mauricio 'Shogun' Rua!

What do you think about that fight?
