Hello i was wondering if they are some Hard minimal or techtrance producers in south africa.
never heard one....
pls all the info that u can tell me it's good.

Yes, there is one I know of... GEM-37 of http://www.hypno-twist.za.net but he hasn't released anything yet. Other than him, I'm not sure of any others  Everyone around here seems to be leaning more towards the full-on or morning sounds  |

If you are talking about proper minimal. Then no one here realy has heard any or knows the difference because of that.
Then no, there is no known minimal artists in south africa, just me and my friend seth, seth is currently a signed dj with stomping records.
He plays all good minimal, proraid(brazil), tempest(germany), djruth(germany), i can go on and on...
I heard your promo track... its good style to pick, but you have along way to go to get quality production, like myself :/ but this takes long, i make now for 1 year, most quality artists have been at it for 2+ even 5+ years, plus i have no hardware (yet)
anyway, i hope i answer you question, minimal is minimal, its the same all over the world its the underground of the underground

seth is the only dj in south africa that has minimal trance, me and seth think we are the only ones in the country with minimal trance.
but i could be wrong, but with the circles that we actually get the music they dont know any more south africans so unless there is another place to get from then we are the only ones in the country that have minimal.
in saying that seth is signed with stomping records which is not the best label, and the owner always gives him shit sets (times), but he does play at night, and yes, he does play minimal.
i heard a sound in your track that you stole from what i think was a djruth track, i didnt put much effort into finding where i heard the sample, but i think it was djruth track.
i stole djruths NRG sound from never tell (orginal) and sent the track to djruth, right away he says I stole the NRG from nevertell, and said he spent like days making that NRG sound, and was not happy with me, he did say tho that i cleaned it up quiet nice, but i said i was sorry and wouldnt do that again.
i wouldnt advise stealing samples from other tracks, its just lazy.
but keep it up i like the talkover and stuff  , i could send you one of my tracks if you give me some http space to upload it too or somthing like that??

you play minimal gem_37, thats great, name your top 5 minimal artists...?
Unfortunaty im in england now, which is so shit, grey skys and no outdoors!!
I hopefully go back for holiday in march/april maybe i can goto the easter 3 day party, well ill try get back for that.
But i will send over the tracks i make to seth, and then hopefully he can play them, take me another 2 years before i can play a live set tho, i dont feel that my tracks are good enough yet.
well nice to find people that like minimal!!

front minimale and alot of the older stuff... i cant seem to find any minimal these days... i would appreciate if you could pass on a few names....
I usually start off minimal and progress into progressive...
These days i find myself playing more progressive as i cant seem to find minimal....
The music i make is minimal tech.... should post a track for you some time.

Native Radio is really nice, dunno if you'd classify it as minimal, but I do . Medium used to do some really cool stuff, I dunno if they're still around tho, haven't seen anything by them for quite a while. |
