If there are millionaires in trance they would be label owners/organizers, i.e. businessmen. Being an artist only you would never make a million US dollars playing gigs and producing albums.
Two years ago at the TIP.World crystal skulls new years eve party there were 10,000+ppl and tickets were 100 dollars. That is a million dollar party! Sorry I know that is only gross profit not net and it is divided, but trance parties do occur on this scale. I think the most successful organization producing parties and albums is TIP world, and so from my speculation I would say Raja Ram is probably the closest guy to have made a million bucks. But this is just speculation, means nothing.

Nahh.
To remind you, Tip.World is the 3rd reincarnation of Tip records. It broke 2 times before.
Maybe they gather huge crowds but hardly Raja Ram can be called brilliant businessman.
Though i can only guess what goes in and out in his bank account.

I think Infected Mushroom might be one of the closest to it.
To book Infected, the price is about 5000.00 USD. They've been on tour nonstop since April of last year when they were at Rave-o-lution. They've must've done about over 50 shows from last year to this year.
(50 shows) * (5000.00 USD) = 250,000.00 USD
Now they have 18 upcoming parties they're doing. Therefore,
(18 shows) * (5000.00 USD) = 90,000.00 USD
Total = 340,000.00 USD (currently)
The 18 show amount is subject to change. It is highly possible that they will get more bookings, so that total amount can change.
Trance music shares many similarites with mathematics. Mathematicans don't make squat, but people usually major in mathematics because it's something they like to do. It's the same thing with trance music. Trance artists make this music because it's something they like to do. Most of them are not in it for the money. Some, sadly, are. |

Please try to remember that the fee that artists/djs take are flexible.
Infected gave a set in the "students day" at the college where i studied and i guarantee you they didn't go home with 5000 $.
The whole organization of the venue didn't cost 5000 $
