their might be some that stay on the background of things e.g. party organizers (some of them must be loaded, but i still doubt they would be milionnaires)

as for artists i also doubt their are any.          "Great things are only possible with outrageous requests." Thea Alexander

IDAN djs like Tiesto and Paul Van Dyk get much more than the 10000 dollars that you mentioned.

About the psy trance scene i dont think that it is possible to become a millionaire out of it.           Toodaloo Motherfuckers!!!!!

i wish trance society could focus again on essence instead of material possesions (money in this case) one of the reasons i fell in love with the scene is due to that....

the culture had substance, it was not concered with the best, strongest, fastest, prettyest, hardest, toughest soceity that pretty much consumes the world. as it has gotten more mainstream over the years, trance too was majorly affected by this and more or less ceased to function as a counter culture in every way except "officially".

its nice to find people in trance today who still stick to the old matra, they still exist, although its getting tougher to survive.

More than $10,000 per party??? Thats a lot of money for few hours set. Unless it is a very big party I don't think they get more than $10,000 but if you know for a fact they get more, they are millioners already.

Maby one day psytrance artists will get paid that way for parties, their music is much more better and intellignet than Tiesto's.

Most artists use a computer and lots of cracked VST plugin's and sequencer programs (or just a tracker program - god prevent it..LOL) and the ones that actually have a proper recording studio (hardware) have used years to build it... It's not something you build over night.... It cost a lot of money and most artists with a studio that I know of have used every spare penny on their studio and chosen not to use their money on stuff like clothes, holidays ect. ect. They have sacrified a lot of things in their lives to build a nice studio. And they have worked damn hard for it too.

Let's get this straight once and for all... There are no millionaries in psy/progrssive and Full On !

It's not a scene with Superstar's like Madonna, Britney ect. Eventhough I think some people with too little knowledge about this scene's history live in a illusion that all artists are "Superstars" and some even "Gods"

Anyway if you want to become rich from making music this is not the scene to make music in.

Well some House DJ's/producers make a huge amount of money on gigs. There are rumors (some are true) that names like Carl Cox, Mix Master Morris, Pete Tong ect ect. can make up to half a million Pounds or even more on New Years eve playing one event after eachother. They travel by Helicopter from club to club. But this is not the standard even though the fees in the more comercialised House scene are way bigger than in our scene.

Our scene is still too small to generate such amounts even though it's getting there in some parts of the world. But just not in the same scale.

mmm.. some of the artists are too young and didn't have much time to work and build their studio...

maybe they are not rich because they make trance music (no one can), but i think that some were born rich if you know what i mean...           http://www.o-zen.com/art/ranal

I doubt that there are many who made even a few hunderd thousand by music production.

The scene is based on the love for the music...
