I actually enjoyed both of these albums very much. Very different styles, very good music.
Keep up the great work Elmshorn Worriors.
Please share your opinions, which do you like more or do you like them both like I do......

nice topic, i like them both ,each one for its own reasons, interesting what is others people opinion....
Midimiliz its the Future Spirallianz is the present
or opposite , doesnt really metter, differency is there for sure devided from more freestyle to more trance style...both styles are really stylish and banging straight into my gravitation system!!!

Midimiliz and Spirallianz are on the same leven in my books. Can't pick a "winner" from those two. But if you really want my opinion, nothing rocks more than The Delta

I think at the begining there are a lot of differance betwen the two but now the sound is more the same.
Midimiliz is just a little beat more techno sound.

imo spiralienz are better...because theyre music is still called "trance".
if u would ask me a year ago which artist would i prefer...i would choose midimiliz
because spiralienz creates their music with too much goa attitude.
i love midi's old music...tracks like "flip [rmx]"
flip was a gr8 production...
these artists are forgetting what's trance is all about .
imo they just went too far into the darkness of techno style. spiralienz still got some of the trancey "light"...but i feel it will get lost in the way too...  |

I guess we could rename this topic to "How much tekkno do you like in your cup of trance?" Or alternatively "How much trance do you like in your cup of tekkno?" .
Designations mean very little to me and I'm not going to say I like something just because it's called "trance." Yet, now that the dust has settled and we have had time to digest both albums, I have to choose the Spirallianz album. It has more songs that I enjoy listening to. In fact, there is only one I don't like and that's Patchfinder which is basically a "see-how-much-noise-we-can-make" track which is a lot less that I expect from these guys. Given that it is also an older track, it probably shoudn't have made it to the album anyway. It is probably why it was omitted from the LP. At the same time, I find some of the Midimiliz tracks to sound a little dry and lack the depth of the Spirallianz tracks. Again, that's my opinion. I absolutely love "No Exit" though. And Aeromode after the first 2 minutes. .
It will be intersting to see which direction Arne and Wayan take in the future. I found the following quote from Arne which I found very telling:
"How do you go about producing your music?
Exceed the borders! No rules! One of our aims is to create something what we havent done before. We dont have a receipt how we start a track... "
So whatever the future holds will definitely be worth hearing!

Before the last albums from them I preferred Spirallianz over Midi Miliz... Tracks like One Way LTD, Spotrunnerz and Patchfinder are just classics.
After the last albums I dont really know. I think both has their good sides. Passages very techy... but pretty "calm". Stereopark more noisy but also pretty subtile... Why dont they re-use the "mega phat" kick in One Way LTD? It's really great and harder than any of their other tracks!

I think that Spirallianz are better - as a trance act, these guys are just more mature and know what they're doing a lot better. I think Midi Miliz would be so much better if they just stopped defining their music as trance, and started doing more experimental stuff - as a trance act, the duo does great things, as a freeform act, these guys haven't finished developing yet.

So far passages and stereo park are the best two albums this year, at least for me, i just didn't like the fact that the spirallianz album was released right after passages, now i'll have to wait around two years for next album anyway i still think they can put their music on even higher level
