Have you ever thought on this? we are a psychedelic culture 100%
Mexico's the land of colors, light, beauty and diversity, it's the land of ancient and wise civilizations, it's the country that has the widest variety of ritual plants and shamanic culture, according to Albert Hoffman's book, plants of the Gods.
Besides our ancestors, the Mayas, Toltecs, Mexicas, Olmecs which left us a very rich psychedelic heritage we also have cultures within us like Huicholes who are 100% psycehdelic
Our ancestors also left us a rich pantheon of devas, I used that word because I like to put the Gods or Spirits of our ancestors in the same level to indian devas.
There is even a rig veda americanus!!

Corruption is part of the evil force that is present in this world of ours, it exists everywhere, with varying degrees, as politics should remain away from this forum I won't enter into details, but corruption exists everywhere.

Of course we have psychedelia, just look at the huicholes and their way of living, they aren't just fashion or pose, they live in that way and believe what they live, that's part of Mexico... It is what its inside in the deepest part of the heart of our country's essence.
Now speaking of psychedelic parties, while what you said is true to some degree, when has complaining solved anything? Like Gandhi said, be the change that you want to see in this world!!
And like Mother Theresa said, don't wait for leaders, do it yourself!
That's the only way things will improve, do we want them to improve?
we have such a rich heritage that our ancestors left for us, that few countries in the globe, it is a shame we just sit and complain.
let's reduce apathy, negativity and lack of interest to ashes, together with the problems of our scene and build a new one.

My point is clear.
In mexico we DONT have psychedelia because we dont have any real education about it.
Have we lived in the huicholes places? NO.
Have we go with our parents to the desert since childs??? NO.
Do we have a shaman at the next corner to cure our familys? NO.
So stop adulating huicholes, and mayas and whatever ,, this people they do really haave a psychedelic life! .
Im tired of this actitud man, mexico lives in a fking dream! this is my last aportation in this topic. thats it, i got sick. |

imho, forums gives us the right to attack the idea, not the forum user, if this is done respectfully and constructively, this is a place to exchange ideas that's the point of coming here, I didn't feel in any way hurt for the post you wrote here.
However I still feel that just complaining about what's wrong is very easy, when we stop complaining and start doing something things will change.

You mentioned a lot of things that are true my friend, so what are we waiting for!! let's get educated and learn more about the things we have home, we don't need to look for them outside!! and we have a very powerful tool to do this, this forum, our place to do exactly this!!! so why don't we start putting it to good some use? it's good for us, it's good for the scene, and it's good for the world!

Ok, you spotted my ego and made some remarks about it, I guess that gives me the right return the favor to you please understand that it is done with the best intention, to help you have a clear vision and develop a more positive mindset.
You ego is full of negativity man, it refuses to let you open to the posibility of a more positive mindset and attitude towards the scene and life itself, this way you will never evolve, two of the prefered mechanisms of defense of your ego are evasion, and rage, its easier to get mad and close yourself to the posibility of a better attitude and then quit the forum or the post than hit your ego than to face it and fight it and then do something and change it! or at least continue the dialogue.

Maybe i have negativity which is not very confortable but maybe you have a lot of positiveness which maybe is too sweet for my ears, but ironicly the world needs this 2 polaritys to spin.
Maybe my love to the world and to you is transmited thru my ugly posts. think about it...
