Philosophy Mental Arts

You might ask yourself, why do we need "another" psytrance label?
The idea is to promote a freeminder approach . We strongly believe
in the creative power of musical crossover, the mutation and
bastardisation of styles. Mental Arts will be a source of surprises.
We are not so much interested in the average Dj-tool, but in truly
original music. Sure, the roots lie in the trance-movement and most
of our stuff should freak the dancefloors, but we want to achieve more.
There has to be certain message to qualify a track as "Mental Arts".
Furthermore, this label will be a vehicle to spread a message of
pronoia (the suspicion the Universe is a conspiracy on your behalf
or on the terrestrial level: pronoia should be defined as the opposite
of paranoia:the sneaking suspicion others are conspiring to help you
(and you them!). The symptoms include: sudden attacks of optimism and
outbreaks of goodwill.

Thanx, good to hear people perceive it like it's intended.
Current release is a maxi-single of a project I do with my brother, which is called "Funky B.O.T"
And I just signed a contract with Dj Puls who just released a stunning album on Insolation Rec. With him I do another project called "Lovecraft".
And I´m collecting trax for a compilation to be released in winter |

I hope that Cosmophilia is doing a good job with that. Actually the sales are not too good yet. But Necmi got a booking offer for Israel yesterday and I'm sure he'll impress some people over there, coz he' a quite a kicker when he's playin' live. |
