true, but lets face it, its the only way, u cant build up a party in the same way without actually beat mixin songs..
but respect for your scene its reallly nice n uncommercialized unlike the shite here,

For God sake... This discussion can be endless. Everyone is right. Just tell me - do you listen to the tracks or to the beatmatching? C'mon - don't make me laugh.
There is also a situation - your friend plays - you are glad and kickin' and don't give a rats ass about the mix if it's not totally crapy of course because the tracks are important, then somebody else takes the place behind the decks you listen and say - "dj who? who?? he screws up! see how he mixes?"

sorry to drag this on but it gotta be said!
Look @ paul van dyk, hes soo good @ mixin u cant tell when he has changed the choon. thats what every dj should strive for in a mix. then by doing this u can take control of a crowd and take them where u wanna go.
P-S any one know where i can get choons on 12''???? (vinyl) |
