Hey people,
I just got a hold of the Matisyahu album...
And wow... holy crap am i impressed!
It's sooooo awesome...
Now i know a lof of you are gonna say:
Ble ble ble he's just sayin that cuz he's jewish... but seriously... give it a shot!
A couple videos of his appearances on TV are around (easy google) as well as some tape recordings of his concerts!

Check it out people, it's really awesome!
I got my copy sent over from the states by some awesome dude by just asking in the forums! (and no, i didn't pay for it). But if ever i see it here, i'll buy it and give my copy to my mom or something... Or i will donate online whenever i have a card... or something like that!
Anyway, check it out, seriously worth the time!

Why do you assume so? Well, actually I have not listened to your recommendation per se; I have been digging Matisyahu for quite some time now.

the music's good but i'm not so sure about
the vocalist. for me he balances on the fine line between:
original sound - can't sing
and i couldn't decide |

i personally think thats what makes this cd so uniqe
not the usually raggea voice...the jewish voice!

i won't lie, the fact that he is jewish probably influences, consciously or unconsciously...
But i still believe that he does produce great music!
Not sure about his voice by itself though :s
but from the video of him at some show, it seems he can sing a cappela without a problem |

chop em down, close my eyes, and aish tamid are my favs. there's just something great and original about his vocals. although after listening through the entire cd the whole "ribbi dibbi doy dabba day" thing gets a little old. |

hehe.. i love Matisyahu's music very much:) that voice is amazing:) I have a hassid friend, I've shown him.. he is a big fan now:D:D
During the summer Matisyahu comes to Hungary to a great 1 week festival.. we hardly can wait it:D:D |
