Marijuana Day 2005
The coalition of drug reform organizations in Israel in pleased to announce
the celebration of the annual international marijuana day at HaYarkon Park in Tel Aviv
This event, celebrated in 150 cities worldwide and in Tel Aviv for the 8th consecutive
year, marks the continued struggle for drug policy reform and an end to the persecution
of hundreds of thousands in Israel and tens of millions worlwide every year.
The picnic will feature short speeches and informational materials on proposed changes
to the damaging drup policy adopted by Israeli administrations through the years.
This year, Knesset member Roman Bronfman will speak at the event (at 15:45h), in support
of the annual showing of the drug reform activists in Israel
As this is a picnic, please feel free to bring food, drink, blankets,
musical instruments.

Also a question: Who's up for a semi-organized, bring yourself and your friends (and whatever else you wanna bring...), marijuana day support get-together in Haifa? Think it could work out? Maybe we should get Jerusalem in on this too, show them we're serious from all three large cities in Israel...
