yea it will be cold also snow. To go Kasol you need to go Bhuntar & then change for Kasol.

Personally i dont like Kasol, but u check it out if u like it. However, Himachal will be very shanti with almost no people around that time.           We were born naked & grow up to become wicked.

@psy junky >> The road to spiti will be open in october unless it snows which is highly unlikely, the road to manali is closed from kaza after torrential rain in spiti valley which lasted for 4 days(8th to 12th).. lazy snow clearing process has started at kunzum la yesterday.

@sure_smoke_alot >> yes i finished the trek..with 5 feet of snow on the pass...i was approaching one more pass in pin valley, but the same old snow of last year came back and all trekking has finished for the season in my opinion here in spiti/ladakh now i am settled in kaza and the road is open for manali so, i am packed and headed for rishikesh tomorrow then gangotri/tapovan/gaumukh.

its been way too long again here in trans himalaya but with a new experience more stronger then ever.

ciao

@Psysoul >> there is no magic mantra..its all here come/see/be conquered and the rest depends on what life you choose and decisions you make.

@psy junky > i just got back to kaza today after 4 days from a horrible rishikesh..also went to kasar devi..even more strange..so got back here after 3 days of non stop road journey in total.
if you are here till october let me know... i might push off after a buddhist festival in komic.

cheers
