hey my manali trip will be from the 21st of may till undecided date...
would appreciate info on places i can stay.... clean bathrooms are a must hehehehe

i did read the entire thread and yeah know where to head for sure n how but just need places to park my stuff at....

@shroomz... well so far da plan is to head to manali and have figured out the best place to live is at the Hotel Dharma located in Vashisth village. While der will head to Manikaran for the hot water springs and to check out parvati valley and yeah will do a trek to malana... after that it's straight to dharamshala... this is my half plan so far.... will do some more reading n research as m the only one who will be guiding 4 lost in da head boyz hehehe so m basically kinda da guid id say who is lost herself .....
ne suggestions???? hope ive got it all rite so far... nebody whoz headded der same time???

even if u trek to the back side of pulga....if u are adventerous....is beautiful.

i mean i wud have jus stayed in parvati all the time without even going to manali! (but it's a matter of personal choice so i can't say nethin)
in parvati as askazi said u sud do kheerganga belive me it's worth the effort (it's hardly a trek now as they have done roads nearly till tosh so it's more of a walk)
the backside of pulga is the forest of bunbuni (if i m not mistaken) & if it's that wot askazi is talkin bout then yea it's a nice meadow if not then askazi can tell better

well u can get sum really nice n clean places in kasol u can make that ur centre point n then jus stroll to the places i mentioned b4!
but yea once u leave kasol to above (i.e towards pulga & kheerganga) the bathrooms are.... well panoramic to say the least )

yup there r tents as well as a dharamshala which is run by a priest's family
the only problem is there was an avalanche a few yrs. ago which ruined that guest house so i m not sure if that's operational but u can find that out easily once u reach kasol

@funkiejunkie .. See, I told you .. there are 2-3 ppl who know the mountains well .. I feel dont stay anywhere in kasol and vashisth and other places .. Now there is a road upto tosh .. Head to tosh and stay there .. Make ur way up to kheerganga too .. Get lost in the forest of pulga / kalga .. Btw a request .. Carry ur own sleeping bag if u really need ur bed .. Coz the places out there are very basic .. As you whil ur time in the forest and meet fellow travellers, ur journey takes turns .. Many places get added to ur list and u move on .. So I suggest go there .. settle in .. and rest will follow ..
And yes .. get used to panoramic view .. hahaha .. Krunal that was a good one ..

Oh .. There is a sweet village called Kutla ahead of tosh .. Hope u can make it there .. I cudnt .. But soon I am planning to ..
