i jus spoke to a few ppl. today n seems that rohtang as well as kunzum as closed as for now
they say rohtang sud open around 2nd week of may & kunzum will open only after that so chk before u leave

Totally makes sense, even i almost broke my leg while navigating that road on a bike, it sure is very narrow and dangerous especially for cars.. still gives me the creeps if i think about it and i cant forget the chandra river on the left..this road is more like a trail and should be considered like a trail.... I think a trek will be the best bet for that place.
anyways i spoke to a friend in manali as well he said, Kunzum pass will be operational for light vehicles in by 2nd week of may...lets see what happens few more days left 
I dont believe im saying this but i really hope the heat gets to these passes ASAP.
keep the updates coming krunal in PM format as well.  u have a good time in sangla, and i shall wait for the pics on pbase.

Wonderfull pictures on the blog, awesome landscape shots..the valley sure is beautifull and mystical,
