Yes Bro we shall catch up for either of those moments its just 2 days for my ass to be there...but you make sure its september cause you know why its the best month to pay a visit. 
Will be staying in kalga this time and then marching on to the epidemic of parvati valley which is "kheerganga".

just came back from a nice but short visit to the mountains. kalga was really nice..
nice people...
the rains in kheerganga spoilt it though...... but it is definanely a visit. ,,,,,,,beautiful place |

Where can I get more info on cheap accomodation in manali and around? I have been told not to stay in hotel and resorts but to stay at local houses or in the villages. How do I get those info?

no point staying in any fancy resort.......its shit.
its not difficult to find a place to stay apart from that..once youre there you will see that its not that difficult to find a place .. |

Well, Just head to the right places and speak to the locals.. You will surely find the right places. See the place urself and then decide to stay.
