Its funny to read what you all say...
its all in your own minds!
There are drug users in all music generes!
music is above drugs.... music is its own drug...
do what feels good for you....
Psychedelic drugs will always make everything more sensitive.... you will understand the music in your own may... not anyone elses way...
i bet that if you trip to classical music you would say that it was very good music for tripping...
do you get my point? its a pointless question... but interesting anyways...

For me the music gives me a natural high. I'm totally addicted to the euphoria that it gives me. That is why I enjoy listening to it at work cause it makes me happy and deal with the work pressures.
When I went to the Infected Mushroom party though, I took shrooms for that exact reason. Listening to their music is just crazy when buzzing on da shroomies! 
LSD works well with flowy music that swims and dances 
Alcohol for me is a big no no!!! I cant even drink that stuff anymore. It just makes my head hurt! UUGHHHHHH!
But only use the drugs in moderation guys!!! The music feeds you all by itself!!

Well, understand this. In psychedelic music it's about sounds ect. When you eat psydrugs like LSD, your hearing gets mmm.. "better"? So that makes the sounds sound "better" and more "life-like" .. And that is one good point of which psydrugs makes the whole listening experience "better" then without drugs. And that is equal to all humans. Not a from person to person point of view. And if anyone can get a "psydrug-effect-feeling" bye listening to psy without psy substances.. Then eather you have taken to much drugs in your life, or you just got a special gift. Imortant to remember that you cant really talk about drugs beeing better or or not with music if you havent tried it. Dont speak of what you dont know of.. hmm.. did that make sense? did you get my point?  (i tend to complicate things a bit, hehe. Like math)

After i started taking psychadelic substances, the music sounds completely diferente to mee.... it always was important in my life, but now it seems that my ear has more "sensativitie" then before! No doubt about that!
Is it just me?

Nope, me to Psilocibino
. Psy(trance) is a very complicated musicform with lots of sounds swirling around ect. And i feel that i have a better ear to sounds now then ever before..
its like i listen to a b c d e f g h i j k l m n o p q r s t u v w x z
while many other just listen to a b c d u v w x z .. Unfortunaly some just manages to hear a b x z.
But this is a gift i also had from when i was a kid. Its just "stronger" now then ever before. I'm acctuly addicted to psy because it fills my sound need. hehe

First of all, classical is amazing to trip to. Putting on some Wagner or Rachmaninoff when tripping on acid will make you see that that a lot of classical breaks a lot of boundaries, in a different way than most electronic music, but in some respect breaks even more boundaries than electronica.
To answer another one of your points that music is above drugs, that it is its own drug, just means precisely that the two topics are inseparable. So much research has been done to show that inside your brain, music (that one enjoys obviously) has a very similar effect as do drugs. For me, the point of a psychedelic trip is to actually hear the music inside yourself, and that music is far more amazing than we can write so far.
But, please, don't knock drugs; they are inseparable from the human experience. For some reason, people throughout our history, have felt the need for intoxication, and that cannot be refuted if you look back at written history and even prior to that at drawings on walls of caves. The problem sometimes (actually most of the time) is that humans choose the wrong substance to intoxicate themselves on. (cough cough Alcohol for example).
There is absolutely nothing wrong with psychedelics if you know how to use them; they are a very powerful tool, and as any powerful tool can be used to a great advantage or a great disadvantage.

I can trip on music withouth using anything.... but I agree with psytones... to each music its own drug..... I belive it enchencess your power of absortion.... But as Ponty said(Ithink) you only need to remember your trip to have it again with the same music... or something like that... I am really bad at explaining thing through writing....

I won't be able to go to sleep tonight thinking how I misunderstood you. OK, maybe not, but I would be very interested in seeing you explain yourself; it is sort of unfair to leave it as is. Try us, maybe we're not so stupid, and might actually agree with you. Most disagreements come from people talking about the same thing with different vocabularies; let's decide on a vocabulary.
P.S. Granted, my saying "don't knock drugs" and making it look like you were was out of line, as you clearly never did, I guess I was just venting frustration over many many people doing so on so many forums.

i will explain my self....
what i thought was funny was that everybody has different views on the subject, its a subjective question and therefor noone can have a right or wrong....thats what i meant with "pointless question" but i also said it was interesting...
if we would want to eliminate missunderstandings
we all should explain our self just like psytones did... our background and some of our musical taste(musical package)
and what i meant with classical music is that there are many kinds of music that is nice to trip to... making it even harder to discuss...
anyway nice topic, though i thought psytones patronized me with his latest post, like i didnt know what lsd was and how it works.. i pointed out that psychedelics opens our minds and we become more sensitive for the physical world... music is a part of both the physical world and the psychological world.....
im in a better mood now... we all have our days, some of us drug users have worser
next time ask me what i meant, i know i can be hard to understand sometimes... and it gets me frustrated when people dont...
